    Hi folks,:hello:
I have my laptop back, repaired for £65.

DS3 came home on Friday.:j:j:j Here for a couple of days then away to renew his safety certificates for work at sea. I ended up with a vicious virus which managed to completely spoil my planned weekend with the family but we had almost all of them here which is much more important to me.

He will be back for one day and night here then away to USA on Saturday. Then it is just 2.5 weeks until DS1 ,DDIL and her mom arrive from USA.

Great news. DD and DSIL are going to do a balance transfer of our cc debt to a 0% interest card. This month I paid off £250 but paid £143 in interest

There is a great dinosaur exhibition on at Rheged so we had a family day out. It is £6 to get into the exhibition and food too is lovely but pricey for eight of us so DD hubby and kids went in with DS1 and DS 2. Mr P and I had a look at the tyrannosaurus Rex from Natural history museum on display, then we had a cuppa outside from the van. £2 spent.

Instead of lunch out we all had brunch at our house, prepared and cleared up by the family, so I had nothing to do.

If you pay to go in the exhibition the adventure playground is free but you still need to sign in at the desk.

Dinner last night was cooked by Mr P. Chinese chicken and peas. Yummy. I went to our local refugee action group meeting. We have raised over £1000 for refugees. Next event is a coffee morning but not until October. I might do one before then...

ETA Rheged exhibition is from Natural History museum, London.
