It feels odd to have money just for me. I know it is to help with daily living so I can use things like pay to have my hair done. I had a really rude person at knit and natter group ask if I had ever considered having my hair styled. Just because it is usually just scraped back in a ponytail!

Hopefully the cottage money will help towards paying it's bills over the winter and also cover some extra debts from last winter. We borrowed on business credit card to pay business loan and utilities last winter. But that was before I decided to stop borrowing from Peter to pay Paul. It feels like confession time
Basically we were trying to keep out heads abover the water and only just managing. :embarasse

This money will certainly help towards fuel costs for all of my appointments too. Feeling relieved. I slept better last night.

How rude, my hair is styled every 6 weeks and it's still up 90% of the time, it's called the mummy look :rotfl:

I"m glad you slept better, must be a huge relief for you and it doesn't matter what you did last year, you were doing your best, just look forward to what your going to do different this year.

Thank you quintwins, you have made me feel better about myself. I am having a bit of a low day today. Don't know why, unless it is because DS3 went back to USA yesterday and I don't know when I will see him again. I do know one thing though and that is that I am even more determined to pay off this debt so we can save to go and see DS3 and DDIL.

And only 14 days until DS1, wife and MIL will be here. That does make me feel stressed as I need to get the house sorted for them. More so they can find a bed in their rooms than anything else. I have a huge pile of boxes and more piles of things to put on ebay, on the beds. I might just take them to CS instead.

Today trying to do accounts cos no one else in the house can manage to do them....DD is coming over later so maybe she can help me/us.

You both made me smile :) Thank you.

There isn't really anything at all higher value. At least I don't think so. I will have a look when I am upstairs tonight or in the morning.

If that's the case just send it all to the CS the relief from decluttering and helping others will be worth missing out on a few pennies.
