Thank you for the comments about our food. I try to remember to share as our meals are always frugal and sometimes very frugal.

Last night we had tacos with our own recipe rather than buying a kit. Very yummy. It felt like a real treat. Tonight we have freshly caught trout. A present from a friend. Not sure how to serve it yet. I have been advised to follow the FODMAP diet by my GP, so some foods are restricted.

I gave myself a foot spa yesterday. It was very relaxing. I found it in a book called A Year of Puttery Treats. My counsellor recommended I do 'girly things' like go to a spa for relaxation but I made my own mini spa in the sunshine yesterday. It really confused my girls (hens) who thought they might try to drink the water. Lavender infused Epsom salts are probably not very good for hens

I have been recommended more self care so thinking of free things to do. ...

Window frame is not stuck together yet. I chickened out. Maybe today

Thank you beanie. A much better way of looking at it.

Today I have repaired a very noisy toilet and have received the part I ordered to repair my laptop (9.45), much cheaper than a trip to the repair shop. I am going to try to repair it. It needed a new charging jack socket and I have found a really clear video on YouTube. Now I need the correct size screwdriver... Going to see if I can borrow one...

My hands and arms are incredibly painful tonight or I might have already attempted the repair..

Have you got a sewing machine screwdriver? they are normally about the right size for laptops as well ;)

Thank you knitwitch. I did have one and it worked well. I took the laptop apart to fit the part, with some help from DS2 as he was brave enough to pull some parts of the casing apart that I was afraid to damage. Sadly the part didn't fit and despite knowing what we need I can't find the part online. I will probably try the manufacturers on Monday.
