Help needed re ink stains on clothing

    just got pen marks off my jeans that got covered in the wash from a pen that was left in my sons pocket, i used hairspray its a solvent and you will need to blot as much as you can off before washing with white

    Edinburgh lass have you used milk succesfully before??? Seem strange that milk would remove it

    Oh now you are making me tell of my long and distant past :o

    It certainly works for liquid ink as I was often spilling "proper" ink on my pretty little school dresses and soaking them in milk certainly worked icon7.gif

    How would I be able to remove ink (ink from a ink/stamp pad) from a item of clothing.

    Try covering the stain with milk, then rinse well and wash as normal.

    I'll give it a go, but I can't see it working.
    I thought there might be some kind of detergent etc that you could recommend.

    Anyway I'm off to the fridge.... ;)

    This does work, I once leant my elbow into an ink pad, soaked stain overnight in milk & HEY PRESTO!!!!!

    if the milk thing doesnt work you could try the stain devil ink remover - a friend of mine had it all over a white jacket and it all came out.
