I was using Cyberghost (got a year for £11), however, for the last couple of weeks it's not working.
It connects then I get no internet connections at all (servers not reached) I've tried open DNS, google DNS. I've flushed the DNS cache. I've tried an online MS fix without success. I've unistalled and installed three times.
Turned off Firewall and anti virus (Kaspersky) with no joy. Also disabled iPv6...
Before all this everything was working perfectly and really fast.
I downloaded Tunnel Bear to try with exactly the same results, so I'm presuming something in my system is at fault.
    ZenMate works within the browser...
Anyone any ideas.....Not really into all this, I just like things to do what they say with little interference from the weakest link.....Me...!
Sounds like a similar experience I had (Cant recall the VPN though). Basically I had to reinstall the VPN and select to switch OFF a protection system as just uninstalling left it on with no internet (Did my head in that one)

Had something similar with them. Third vpn from them ended up PIA. However your ISPs could have a 'bad boy' pipe - get those data hungry punters and limit certain ip paths/or traffic paths via ip addresses and severely traffic manage them if the data is encrypted. What you get is a torrent that was popular like Libre Office, it would start to build speed for a minute then drop to nothing. Another provider they did not like was nordVPN an that started off poor and intermittent. Ended up moving from Sky. and the new isp were much better (plusnet), however now during peak time, the web works, but bandwith is throttled to around 2M, so will move again soon.

It's not the ISP. It works fine on the laptop, with no drops in speed or connection.

Sorted it.....It wasn't enough to disable Kaspersky. I've uninstalled it completely and after a restart Cyberghost is working again and giving great results speed wise 162Mbs via WiFi.....Just need to decide on a replacement for Kaspersky as I couldn't find a way to make it work with CG....

Thanks, but, went back to bitdefender (free). Only had Kaspersky because it was free from Barclays. Not feeling it for paid versions at the moment. ;)
