If it's the former, it would explain why I got more interest than I expected, at times. Especially when I had very little in the account until the end of the month.
It is the former.
Interest is calculated on the balance at the close of business daily.
When you get good at it and figure out the time of close of business, a whole world of possibility's opens up.0 -
hey im looking to find out if a particular scenario will work, if i pay salary into first direct then transfer 500 into my new classic plus account and the next working day i transfer it out somewhere else, but ensure ive always got 1500.00 in the account will i qualify to earn the interest?
im still a bit shaky on what banks consider you "paying in" some say that it has to be a salary others dont specify at all, they just say pay in a particular amount. LBM 01/12/2015 (roughly) | Debts at Highest £9128.00 | Current Debt £0.00!!!!!:j:money:
