A regularly updated list of which company uses which agency would be useful........
I believe some companies straight reject you if you have applied elsewhere in the last 3/6 months, Virgin being one , anyone else found similar ?
There is a list on the forums, you would need to search for it using the search function.0 -
It's not exactly up to date is it !
We all learn from experience, whatever the perceived qualities0 -
Not much mention of Credit Compass on here ??
Why would there be when there is Noddle which offers the same service for free?
Welcome to Credit Compass from Callcredit. A monthly fee of £14.95 applies. On signing up to the new service, I note that the eligibility checker gives higher eligability rankings than the actual company websites !, and that my Experian score is higher than my actual Experian account score on the same date
And just to show again how pointless these 'scores' are, my score from Experian (via Barclaycard) is 100 points or thereabouts more than the one given from Experian via MSE Credit Club.

Noddle is painfully slow to update, Call Credit are moving to weekly updates, worth every penny if you want the real picture surely ?0

Noddle is Call Credit's free version and they update monthly, it's not exactly a long wait.
ClearScore is Equifax's free version and are the ones who are launching weekly updates.
MSE Credit Club have recently launched a free Experian credit report and that also updates monthly.I'm a Board Guide on the Credit Cards, Loans, Credit Files & Ratings boards. Not really. Its like people who are obsessed by their weight...constantly stepping on to the bathroom scales to see if they are up a few ounces or down a few ounces.
Many folks only really want to take a look every now again just to see how things are doing and monthly updates is absolutely fine for that.0 -
When you watch News at Ten do you watch the current live version or one you recorded 7 weeks ago ?
Noddle is very out of date, period
Experian through Barclays is updated every 60 days
Most people who post on here have a problem or issue NOW ......so you want the sharpest tools at your disposal to fully understand the situation
If you don't want to pay £40 a month ( less than I spend on coffee) to get the most accurate and up to date information possible, you are not serious about resolving anything0 -

Constantly says the agency scores are important...
Encourages people to pay agency subscriptions for regular reports...
Which credit agency do you work for?0 -

There is actually no need for the regularity of paid subscriptions because the CRA's rely on creditors to update the files and most if not all only do this once a month or less frequently.0
