  • I think its wonderful that real people win things. Good one you all.
  • I tell my friends in work and family. Thats mainly because my friends in work ask me what ive won and ive gave things to them, like when i won a classical music CD an older bloke in work loves that so i gave him that as i dont listen to Classical. Im addicted to comping and i enjoy it, sometimes you do get the odd looks off people and then they grumble i never win anything, but thats because they dont enter

I tell all friends and family (and anyone else that wants to listen) about all wins and even comps that I enter, everyone has been happy about the wins and keep saying that they are going to come on and enter some.
DD thinks I'm a little mad as I keep on laughing at the PC when I read all the banter. ;)

My Dad was really surprised that I told you lot about the car. He thought people might be jealous or mean about it but actually, I got such lovely lovely messages when I won the car that I've printed them out to keep. Compers are on the whole hugely generous and good-spirited I think.

As mentioned before, don't think i would tell friends about big wins - but I would tell you guys - my virtual friends and you are all comping nutcases/addicts like me:rotfl:

Yep I get that a lot and mainly from people who know how much debt I am in and then try and make me feel guilty about why if I won so and so I am not planing on giving it to them.

  • I shout it from the rooftops,

when I won the designer handbag, I brough a new suit to go with it for an interveiw I had got for a dream job, but one that was at least 2 grades above me, I told the shop assistant about the handbag as I was paying.

I also told one of the other interveiwies when she asked where I got it from she was impressed and told me how lucky I was, I went on to get the job and prove how lucky I was! I don't doubt the extra confidence from looking the part helped.
