This was the month when I finally filled my BOS accounts (thanks to a Money Transfer offer from MBNA).

I've been opening as many Virgin Regular Savers (3 online, 2 branch so far) as possible ready for 11th June. I'll then be drip-feeding them from the BOS accounts.

End of the tax year, time to draw up my summary.

62% of my 2016/17 non-ISA interest came from two Santander accounts. It will have had an impact for the coming year but maybe the re-distribution of the funds into a hefty clutch of Regular Savers etc will mean the total interest won't be dissimilar.

It's a lot more work of course, I've just about finished checking what should have happened on April 1st et seq has taken place as it should.

Santander Regular Saver rate of 2.5% (for non Select/123 Customers) look slightly more attractive now. I think I will start winding down these current accounts and consolidate them bagging one or two switching bonus along the way. It's starting to look ridiculous chasing diminishing returns.
