I'll let you into a little secret. I haven't agreed with some of my posts on this thread. :D

I wondered why it was like arguing with my Dad.

    Hello Dad :)

    A trick.?.

Quietly enjoyed by so many for years.

Until someone put it on the megaphone.

Typical...I opened 3 BOS accounts last month and moved 6 direct debits.

I'm thinking of switching one of the BOS accounts to HSBC for the £150 switching bonus. This would also give me access to their 5% regular saver.

Although the direct debits have been set up, they haven't been used to take payment yet. Does anyone know if they will still switch to HSBC without any problems?

Probably. Given the time its taking many people to open an HSBC account at the moment, the DDs may have been paid once, or even twice before the switch:cool:

I have moved mine to Tesco current account at 3% but that is only on up to £3K, however they do say you can have up to 2 accounts per person (4 per couple).

TSB can be an internal standing order from account 1 to 2 and vice versa.

I've had two TSB Classic Plus' for years now and have SOs for the £500 in from external providers (and back again). I wasn't aware that you could do it internally from one to the other - is this in their Ts&Cs does anyone know?

I have had £500 as a internal standing order from account 1 to 2 and vice versa since the day the account was announced and have never had an issue.

All I do each is log in on the second working day of the month and skim off the interest.

I'm back from sunny India today, I have 3x BOS accounts which are all max out.
So I will have to find somewhere else to park my 15K
What happens if you push this button?

Where will you get better than 2% on the whole £15,000?
