Serious Nagging From DWFs

Look for crying out loud this argument is stupid.
There is always going to be someone who thinks something and then rallys loads of other people to think the same.. why do you think we've had 2 world wars...
the fact is posts don't get missed except on the rare occasion which is just GOING to happen on a busy site. So !!!!!! is the point creating a subboard for diaries to cure a problem that doesn't exist?
If it makes anyone feel better I'll just stop posting in my diary. Obviously the minority rule the majority and as my diary is one of the busiest I suppose you've got to start the panic-cull somewhere.
Right.. time for more lambrini...Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Don't you dare stop Mrs!!! You've probably inspired more people than most of us put together.....you are totally what DFW is all about."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

But what's the point.. no matter whathappens we're always going to get round to this stupid 'the diaries are ruining everything' debate where people end up whining to Martin so everything gets screwed up.... what's the point?Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

IA calm down. Has any one actually said 'the diaries are ruining everything'?
We're only giving our opinions which may be different to yours.:grouphug: Things can only get better.0 -
BG moment
This is one of the most important boards on MSE where being nice to people is really, really important.....
People have their own views on whether things shopuld go one way or another, no-one is wrong or right, it's OK to have an opinion.
Whichever way it goes the newbies will get supported and the "regulars" will still have their diaries, let's all be nice to other moneysavers whether they are in debt or going bankrupt or even writing about their experiences, if the thread is not for you don't read it, if it offends you report it.0 -

It's not going to get screwed up. Just relax, smile and chill.
The newbie questions are answered by experienced people who are lured back to the board by the diaries. If the diaries are moved, then the newbie questions will have to move too, or wither on the vine. Don't worry about the diaries being moved. They are self-sufficient in, and of, themselves.
I don't think Martin is going to move them anyway. It looks like he was mislead into thinking there was a "groundswell" of opinion to move them - and there most assuredly is not."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

I disagree ZTD. I'm lured back by the different questions asked as much as if not more than the diaries. I only post when I am absolutely certain of the answer to any question (on all boards not just the DFW).

I'm sorry I'm just very protective. The DFW board has been a massive source of info and support to me and I've only been here a year. I'm just scared that the whole essence of DFW could be ripped apart by what is essentially a rumour that has been spread about newbies posts going unread because of the diaries...Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043
