Today was the LEAST possible MSE day ever. £24.50 on a belated Christmas present for my best friend, £10 on an exercise class and £17.01 of my £30 food budget spent leaving just £2.99 for the rest of the week.
The only consolation I have is that 48p was saved through the downshift challenge and £2.70 was saved via reductions. I made a big batch of chilli that should last me until Friday and I will eat leftovers from the freezer on the weekend.
Feeling a bit down because of my utter compulsion to eat mexican chilli now.0 -

Hello Everyone,
I'd love to join in please. 2017 is going to be the year I finally get all my finances sorted and I think challenges are definitely going to help me along the way!
I won't be including any bill direct debits etc as part of my spend days but will be including any other kind of spending.
As March has 31 days I think going for 50% NSD is a good starting point so I'll aim for 16 NSDs please.
Just checked through my YNAB app and I have already got 5 NSDs under my belt and today is looking like it could be another fingers crossed!0
