Had a very spendy couple of days and have had generally spendy weekends for the past 3, but stuck inside today with a bad back so that's NSD 2/10 .
Some good news with our first water meter reading in that it's saving us money when I'd be panicking it would cost us more than unmetered, so we're now £40 in credit0 -
4/20 NSD Just got back from a busy unexpected day. Went to get baby wipes and used my boots points to pay for them and then as I was heading home went bumped into an old friend and went for coffee. We havent spoken for 8 months and she paid so NSD.No Spend November 2/15 and SPC 1340

Afternoon all
how is everyone this fine afternoon!?
Its been a while since i last updated.
Thursday i was waiting in for a parcel and busy shredding old documents in the sort pile. NSD#2
Friday i had a very lazy day. I took the kids to school and came home and put my pjs back on as i was drenched! So i had to spend the day drinking tea on the sofa in order to fend off any colds i might possibly acquire in the futureNSD#3
Saturday i was at work and i never take my purse with me so NSD#4
Today we've to the local indoor car boot. we've spent £65 (not entirely sure how  ) I did get 4 beautiful framed 1940s style pin-up prints for £16 they are quite big. We got cluedo jr which we're going to try out after dinner. OH spent £20 on pink floyd CDs and graphic novels. He's too expensive but we only go once a month so its his chance to splurge. The kids had £5 pocket money each (they only get this once a month the rest is saved)
Anyway the gist is no NSD today.
NSDs 4/21

Today ended up being quite a spend-heavy day.
I found out a friend of mine was pregnant so I treated myself and her to brunch, which ended up costing £6. I also bought her a belated Christmas gift/ congratulations present from LUSH that came to £14.20. (£10 was paid for by a gift card that I got for Christmas.) I also ended up spending £2.50 on sorbet and £4.10 on groceries.
This brought my total food spend up to £19.19/35
Since tomorrow is the start of a new week I'll be depositing my remaining grocery funds into an envelope and withdrawing a new £35. If there is still excess money each week after a further 2 weeks on this budget then I'll return it to my account and lower my food budget to £30 a week.
Fingers crossed that tomorrow will be a NSD. I also plan to eat only food that I have in the cupboard/freezer so will hopefully also leave my food budget intact.0 -
I can finally claim NSD 2/15. It's really hard going this month, but hoping for a lot more NSD's next week

Number 3 NSD today. Have to watch the spending because we get our new kitchen installed in two weeks time, and these things always end up costing a bit more than what you have put aside for them.
(No, Igor, Ennessdee Towers will not be getting a new kitchen. You can manage perfectly well with the old gas stove, the stone Belfast sink (some trendy folks pay a fortune for them, you know) and the washtub and mangle. Now get back to cooking supper - and chill the champagne this time, you know warm champers makes marmite break wind.)One life - your life - live it!0 -
