Lantanna I'm also stopping going to group. The consultant is nice, very friendly and as far as I can tell doesn't claim knowledge she doesn't have! However I find the whole thing quite dull and not as inspiring as I'd hoped.
So, I'm going to shift to weighing at home on Fridays. My scales have consistently weighed at 2lbs less than at group (weighed first thing in the morning) and for this week I'm going to say -1/2lb - probably a bit on the cautious side actually. I'll have a better idea next week.
Had a rubbish day yesterday - had to get up at silly o'clock to take DD to the airport, couldn't go back to bed so craved carbs all day to keep going. Managed not to hit the biscuits, though!
I'm still looking for new recipes to try. OH is veggie so might take a look at the veggie menus on the website whilst I can still get on it.
Well done to all the losers, and positive vibes to everyone struggling.0 -
...........drum roll please..............
reporting a 1lb loss
its been a long time coming!
fingers crossed I don't put it back on next week
skinny hugs to all and very well done to all the losers
so glad the sun has begun to shine0 -
Morning all
Still talking about cars - lol? I usually go for black but the next one is going to be white or silver - black isn't very practical in Spain, it gets really hot and shows all the dust.
Back on topic, well done chocomonsta, MissT, chocolate teddy, lantanna, ruthy, wizkid and candyapple.
Haven't decided what to do today yet, we're trying to get organised to go on Tuesday and I've been busy washing everything but there's only so much you can do with 3 days and nights left. It's a lovely day so we should get out and enjoy it, I think maybe a walk.
I'm also trying to use up everything in the fridge and freezer so yesterday I made a big pot of soup with cauliflower, broccoli, carrot, peas and onion and we had half yesterday, we'll have the rest for lunch today. Dinner will be spag bol with mushrooms and carrots added and I always have leftovers so that will be another meal for Monday. I like to clean the fridge and freezer before we go but there's still too much in it!
I'm actually looking forward to going back to group - I can't really say I get a lot out of it but I find I'm more motivated. The consultant only started last year and she's very enthusiastic. When I told her I was going away to Spain for 5 months but I'd be back she agreed to let me stay in her Facebook group (she normally boots people out if they stop going) and she frequently sends me messages. The only trouble is, I've been planning to go to the Tuesday morning group which used to be one of hers but since I've been away they've had a reshuffle and another new consultant has taken over. She was a target member in 'my' consultant's other group so hopefully 'my' consultant won't be offended if I go elsewhere, and hopefully the new one will be as good.
Anyway, having written an essay, I'll wish you all a very good weekend!

Well done on your loss chocomonsta.:T
It'll be good for you to get back to a group if only for access to the website lois and maybe a new consultant will be really motivated. Enjoy your last few days of Spanish sunshine.:)
It's a glorious day here too and I plan to get out in the garden later. Just a bit of weeding as I want to get on top of it before they grow too much. It all counts for Body Magic.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB toast, fried egg, bacon, mushrooms and tomatoes, HEA milk for drinks
L: JP with cottage cheese and beetroot (bought loads yesterday on Aldi Super6)salmon, hassleback potatoes, mushrooms, tomatoes and green stuff
Syns: weekend wine:)0 -
Looks like there are some good losses this week!
Happy to report a 1lb loss this week. Bit of a surprise as I had a few blips this week and yesterday afternoon went out for tea and cake. Been craving cake for a few days but refused to buy any in the supermarket as I'd have scoffed the lot! So I decided to just go out and have one piece of cake - damage limitation I guess as I satisfied the craving without going over the top.0 -

WI with .6lb gain, happy with that after the birthday meal plus chocolate baking/tasting. Avoided the cake until today but wish I hadn't had it as was sickly sweet _pale_
Off out my cousins 40th wedding anniversary tonight. Bit bitter sweet as was booked before he lost his mum, so the funeral is next Friday.
Drink to absent friends I suppose
Damage limitation next week then.
Have a lovey Mothering Sunday to those that celebrate (I don't ) will just pop to cemetery to 'see' my Mumsy
Hope the sun shines wherever you areIts not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Well done on your loss lizzie :T
What's loose meat and potato pie wiz? Sounds tasty, give us the recipe.
I'll be missing my mum too tie but DDs will bring me cards and flowers so will celebrate. No meal out though. I hate going out on 'national' occasions as restaurants tend to overbook, employ too few staff and plate up mediocre food. I'll be cooking my own roast and it'll be SW friendly.0 -
Well I lost 1/2lb this week....not sure why as I've done everything I've done on weeks when I've lost 2lb (and no it isn't that week either lol) so a little disappointed.....especially as I wanted to lose 1lb to make it 2.5 stone.
However when I did my overall chart for the month I realised I'd lost 6lbs in March & 12.5lbs since January (as well as the weight I'd put on over Christmas) so that cheered me up a little!
Cooking a chicken dinner today for my mum & now the (hopefully) lighter nights are here I can do more walking with the dog as well as swimming.
Son was very thoughtful - no chocolates but got a load of fruit instead.....am impressed with that!
Have a good week everybody !0 -
Afternoon all:wave: some great losses :T lots of strugglers but keep going.. mojo has to come back at some point, doesn't it?;)
Welcome back Maman.. hope you had a lovely break.
Thanks for the reminder about slimmingeats Candyapple. i'd completely forgotten about her blog. Really struggling to think, make and eat food at the moment and not feel completely bored and in a rut!! Will go check out her recipes this afternoon.:T
Enjoy your holiday Denise x
Glad you had a lovely birthday TIE!
Bubbs, did you want to join the challenge? We have 5 weeks left.. if not, you can just tell us your losses each week and we'll be just as pleased
I put on 4lb at weigh in this week(but it's over 2-3 weeks since I've been and went completely off plan) trying to get back on it but OH turned up with some chocolate marzipan last night from the airport as he's just come back from a few days away! it's calling from the cupboard!
Is everyone prepped for the week ahead? I have half a meal plan sorted, now off to try and get some inspiration from the internet! xMortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0
