Started day 1 of my new journal today. Finished my old one yesterday, and realised I'd massively messed that 12 weeks up (it was actually more like 16 weeks as I stopped filling it in over xmas and 2 weeks whilst I went rogue after my residential trip!) Only ended up losing 7lb in total in all that time. Still need 0.5lb to be down to my lowest weight and get cracking on getting my 6 stone award. I will do it!

    Started well on day 1:

    B: Apple and ham
    S: carrot
L: Speed soup (carrot, swede, spring greens, stock and cumin), pear, plum and muller light
D: Syn free chilli pasta bake with 45g 50% less fat cheese for HeA and Mediterranean veg on the side. Then had a bowl of quark with salted caramel flavouring and raspberries for pudding.

In a minute I'm going to have my hifi bars and 2 tesco toffee cream meringues for my HeB and 11 sysns.

Evening all and thank you for Birthday wishes :A

Well the baking with the children turned out to be a brilliant afternoon :T. They said it was the best EVER :D so was worth the added stress :o. Got some great photos of chocolate faces where they licked the spoons :D

Everyone kept asking if I was doing anything special and I said no as it's a work night! But!! Was surprised with a meal out at The Library (bar & grill) which is set in the oldest (former) public library in Britain. Had a mixed grill which was very filling so stuffed now :D. Hubby bought me a cake and so did my son, but have no room for either :o
Maybe have some at weekend :D

Really need my bed now, God I'm old :rotfl:
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
    Keep the Faith All

hello all, another manic week at work has done nothing for me and my eating :/ even worse I don't believe I've been taking my medication properly as some days I remember taking it and other's I'm not sure :/ explains the hormonal hunger this week!

Anyhoo - this weekend is hubs first wheelchair tennis tournament! we'd hoped we'd get lucky and have a late start on Saturday so we'd only need to stay over the Saturday night but the schedule was only released today and he has a 9am start so he's booked us two nights at a Travelodge. not the easiest for food but I have cereal/porridge pots for him and littlie and i'm going to get some fruit and cereal bars from Iceland as I've had an email to say they've put £5 on my bonus card! lunches will be from the onsite catering (uni. not holding high hopes but I will have extra fruit and share with littlie. evening meal Friday will be at home but no promises and out on Saturday. potentially thai at the social night!)

Pay day tomorrow and I have a new tactic - I've spent 2 days finalising a big online shop with ASDA. I find I easily lose 1.5hr+ trying to do a shop in the main store and tescos is as bad (but worse quality food) and morrisons is more expensive so I figured if I do a bulk shop of all the heavy items and stuff that lasts more than a week it will save me time and money (no impulse buys which are usually biscuits which I then consume in the car with littlie!)

the only synned meat is the meatballs which I need to find out syns for I got a pork joint to cut in two and slow cook then pull with bbq beans and veggies too which I love but hubs hates! going to going to do a butchers order for low syn sausages (skinny but filling and only 0.5syn each I think or may even be 0.5syn for two) free burgers and extra lean mince. loads of fruit and veg, no extra treats for hubs as I've banned the choc bars in favour of fruit loaf (2 slices and he's done but could easily consume tons of chocolate and crisps!)

my plan is in a couple of week when I have a few hours spare on the Monday I will batch cook savoury mince, cottage pie, lasagne, the pulled pork and see if I can think of anything else then it will save me time on work nights (and won't end up with extra sneaky syns whilst cooking/starving!)

this weekend is tennis, next weekend is rugby. not as bad as the last two rugby trips though as at the end of the sports centre drive there is a subway so my plan is: take fruit (apples, oranges, strawberries, pre cut melon) and cereal bars for breakfast/snacks. subway lunch on the Saturday (salad for me - chicken, will find out some syns, kids sub deal for littlie and meal deal for hubs) then tea out. not easy to syn as we go with the groups choice but i'm not going to do my usual trick of just having anything that takes my fancy i'm going to pick as wisely as I can!

this weekend I'm not stressing too much. we're away and it's littlies birthday on sunday!!! my online shop is due sunday night after we get back so ready to have a kick !!! week next week. next weeks general plan is:
breakfasts: melon with yogurt if I find a free big pot in aldi or egg muffins (pepper, mushroom, tomato)
lunches: jacket potato with homemade 'coronation chicken' and salad (lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, beetroot, red cabbage) or soup depending on the day
evening meals: chicken topped with bacon and cheese (from hea) served with veggies, meatballs (synned) and pasta (3 syns for sauce), soup, omelette, sausage (asda, 2 for 0.5 syn) with veggies and potato.
we have training Wednesday night so that will probably be soup :)

will try and catch up on here over the next few days - and soon I hope to catch up on the weight loss as tomorrow doesn't look like a loss!

  • 1/2 lb off this week gutted but surprised it was a loss. Why can#t I get back on track. I need to plan but keep putting it off. I need to get back 100% on track or I will not get to where I want to be in the summer.
Thanks to MSE savings we got to go to Disneyworld Florida.
