welcome mrs optimist - I like you took my first steps last month - It is worth it, you will slip up, you will come completely off plan at stages but overall the number on the scales will go down. Good luck - its a lovely bunch to talk to here.

I was a bt off plan at the weekend but not too bad and I did manage to make it to the gym. Its WI tomorrow but I am not too hopeful given it is star week.

    Plan for today:
    B: Muller light and strawberrys.
L: massive salad with lots of speed
D: using all my syns on a couple of homemade pancakes
Snacks: carrot sticks, celery sticks and a couple of plums
HEA: milk and HEB: scan bran.
also off to the gym this evening.

hope everyone has a great week.

I am going to be brave and join the challenge this time - so Shala could you pop me down for a target of -8lbs please :) I am trying to be realistic given we have 4 weekends away during the challenge!

Mrs Optimist - meant to say Welcome to the thread and good luck with your journey.

There is no need to post your starting weight - that is personal to you and you decide when and where you want to set your target. All you need to post each week is how much you've lost if you're doing the challenge or even if you're not!

I don't do the challenge but still use the thread to post my menus and losses and to get my thoughts on "paper" so to speak.

Best foot forward today losers, let's smash this.

B - Mushroom and egg omelette

D - Leftover SW chicken chausseur, mash, 2 apples, 1/4 melon

    T - Stirfry

Shopping and ironing will take care of the BM.

HEXA milk, HEXB Alpens or ryvita. Trying for a bread free week apart from Thursday, where I have to take a sandwich on my placement due to lack of microwave/fridge in some of the rooms and Saturday when I'm having burgers so will treat myself to a barm :D

Does anyone know how many syns are in a tub of Asda reduced fat houmous please?

That's the one, I'll have to work out how many a tub is, unless anyone has a good recipe for a fake one?

TIE, delighted for your OFSTED outcome – YOU contributed to that, so congratulations! :T:j:T:j:T

Storm Ewan caused our garden to be underwater! We are at the top of a hill so most of the deluge drained away ok. Who’s up next, I wonder.

Yes, Cazza, I agree completely about Bully’s commitment – he was the same with us. I do keep half an eye on his Twitter though, even although it’s Owls through and through.

Hello, piglet, you’ve done well so far. Hi, Mrs Optimist.

Good effort, Msm. It’s -0.4lbs for me, shala. It’s not a lot, but it’s in the right direction and after my poor effort at SW last week, I’m delighted.

Hi Esmy - is today your start weigh in? if so then post your first loss next week.. If you've been doing SW a while then just let me know the loss you've had this week and that will be your first loss for the challenge..

I'm not sure that's any clearer now I read it back! :rotfl:

shala_moo - thanks yes the filling is cooked first and it's all veggie so it's not like anything is going to kill me if it doesnt take well to freezing... we have an aga I'm used to things not looking pretty, as long as they taste ok haha.

Hope all goes well today Kathryn x

    today so far -
B- weetabix, so 1 syn for sugar & HeB
L- Leftover middle of Chicken pot pie
    D- Hidden veg pasta

Snacks - banana yogurt - 3 syns for hob nob nibbles , has anyone else weighed these out?! it's depressing! 24g is nothing and 6.5 syns so we did 10 g and called it 3syns.... is only like 7 balls :'( I think I prefer the digestive thins for the same number of syns.... :/

so I have 3 syns left trying to do the 777 thing. will either be a hifi or a couple of digestive thins probably. Need to drink more water!!

I hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.
