Morning all, thanks for the new thread Shala.

So much for my efforts to have a good result this week, I've STS. I'm quite relieved tbh, considering how many times I've eaten out this week. The week coming up is going to be better, we're having dinner at a friend's one night, but her cooking is always SW friendly, and we've got a BBQ, so I'll take salad and something lean to cook.

Welcome to the thread Piglet and Jude.

Well done Moneysaverme, that's a great loss whichever challenge it comes off. And well done to everyone who achieved or nearly achieved their target for the challenge.

    Catch you all later.

    LL :)

  • Hi everyone

So I lost my way a little bit over the weekend. I had wine on Saturday and chocolate yesterday but I shall be angelic today to make up for it :D

All the best for today kathryn you'll be home before you know it

Menu plan for today: (red I think)

B - muller yoghurt and banana, followed by porridge (1st heb) with apple (again) around 10-ish, 2 cuppas (1st hea)
L - jacket potato (2nd heb) with cheese (2nd hea) and salad
T - chicken goujons with carrot & swede mash and green veg

had planned to do a beef stew for tea but have just noticed the beef is 2 days after BB date and isn't looking good :( so freezer tea it is, using most of my syns today on these goujons

Have a good day everyone, stay safe if Ewan is with you :)

(Just had a security check thing come up asking me if I'm a robot not seen that before, took me ages to get this posted)

Best wishes Kathryn! You will be at home recovering before you know it.

Like a lot of you lost the plot at the weekend but firmly back on it now. Going to try really hard this week to get lots of speed and fluids in, would love a good loss on Saturday and a good start to the new challenge.

Its taken me 7 weeks to lose 4 lbs so just over 0.5lbs a week is my average. Anyway happy to be losing.

Cant wait to that signature at the bottom has about 14 lbs to go.
Its as well I'm here for the long haul coz we might be here a while lol.

2nd Interview tomorrow afternoon, looking forward to getting that out of the way and focusing on getting the speed foods in and going to the gym the rest of the week. Feeling really nervous about it today but hopefully that will wear off when I get a chance to go through the notes I made last week.

Dad announced last night that he is taking me out for dinner to thank me when things are a little more back to normal, so looking forward to that some Saturday soon.

Got up early on Saturday and hit Primark for a few holiday bits and that's me pretty much sorted so on a spending ban for a while now. Want to pick up a couple of things in the Duty Free when I'm away so need to stop spending or I'll be getting nothing lol.

Longtime lurker who is nervously taking the plunge.

I am the heaviest i have ever been, even when 9 months pregnant. I'm fed up with not fitting into lovely clothes I have have hanging in my wardrobe (I estimate 75% of my wardrobe doesn't fit or is too tight). I have done SW numerous times before and it is a good plan to follow for lifestyle changes but I just can't bear joining a group again and sitting around listening to what other people have lost that week and clapping like children, misery that I am !

So I am going to take the plunge and weigh myself shortly (gulp) and post my starting weight. I have at least 8 stone to lose so it's going to be a long slog.

EDIT well I have just weighed in on the bathroom scales and my starting weight is 19 stone 8 pounds, I am beyond disgusted that I have let myself get so heavy. I am a size 20 and 5 feet 5 inches tall so my BMI is through the roof. I am going to have a moment to let it sink in. Any starting tips would be appreciated, as well as any tips to losing such a huge amount of weight, how do you stay motivated when it's such an uphill battle ?

Sending positive thoughts to you Kathrynha. Hope everything goes well and you'll be home before you know it.

Good luck Lantanna for your 2nd interview tomorrow. Glad your father is rewarding you with a meal out for all your efforts. Hope you enjoy it when it comes.

    Today's plan:

B - porridge with mixed frozen fruit
    L - HM leek & potato soup
D - LO cottage pie, brocolli, cabbage & brown sauce

    HEA - milk
    HEB - porridge
    Syns - brown sauce 3

No other syns planned today. Definitely need to keep syns low for the rest of the week for a bit of damage limitation!
