Passing my house in about half an hour! I'm watching it on TV, ha ha!
Aren't we lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the world??
Only the very fortunate can live in God's own country
I yearn to be further up in to the Dales, but I get the best of both worlds, close enough to cities to commute, but in open countryside within 20 yards of my property, and right up in the Dales within half an hour.Zebras rock0 -
I've been today to do my first bit of sw shopping, and I may have gone wrong. Bought some quark - never heard of it before so had to ask where it was. Got it at sainsburys but when I got home it doesn't say fat free on it - have I got the wrong thing?? If so, how many syns will it be say per tablespoon? On the plus side, have stuck to plan food wise for my first 3 days as a member so really pleased with myself and have now bought appropriate food choices aswellI'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!0

Hi all,
Weighed in yesterday morning. Really annoyed as I gained 2 pounds! (That's over 2 weeks, as I didn't weigh last week).
I have decided to stop taking the Wellwoman tablets that I've been taking for the last month, as I have been gaining and it seems to coincide with the time I've been taking these. I'm not blaming these for my gains, but wanted to rule them out. Coupled with drinking more fluids.
Close friends at my group tell me to relax more and not to get stressed about my losses (or lack of). I know they are right. Hubby is away working for 3 nights this week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) and I am going to use this time as "me time".
Had a lovely gammon and turkey dinner today, really enjoyed it.
Have a good bank holiday weekend all. xStriving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £26,322.670 -
 sorry I've not been posting as much, everything's fine (thanks everyone who asked x) just working really hard with having to cover all the people we've lost in the dept so once I get home I don't fancy coming on the laptop.
I'm doing my usual lose a few lbs then put them back on dance but still plodding along.
Hope everyone's ok, I can see you are all having brilliant losses :T
Hello to the new people  thanks for joining us.
:T:T Denise on getting back to target range!!
We were considering another G0usto meal box greentiger but at £40+ it's got to be some lovely recipes in there! Glad you enjoyed it!AlwaysHappy wrote: »I've been today to do my first bit of sw shopping, and I may have gone wrong. Plain quark is free, it's naturally fatfree so I think they don't put it on the packaging as there isn't a full fat version if you see what I mean. The flavoured ones are a few syns for a pot.
Good luck Lois with WW, I swap to it occasionally but I get really bored of logging it all!hope it works well for you..
Off to start the new thread and that for the new challenge as I'm at work tomorrow (boooooo)

Shala beat me to it! You might want to try different makes of Quark as they are all slightly different. I've tried the Aldi version and the Tesco version - have to say I don't like the Aldi version unless I add some sweetner to it as it's very sharp (more like a natural yoghurt sharpness and I don't actually like natural yoghurt!). The Tesco own brand or the Graham quark I can eat as it is without sweetner. I don't shop in Sainsbury's very often but may try theirs next time I'm near a Sainsbury.
You can flavour your own plain quark if you want to using baking flavours like vanilla, strawberry etc and then they'd still be Free rather than buying the flavoured ones which have Syns. Some of the ladies at my group buy the flavourings from Cupcake World and reckon the flavours are very strong and you only need 1-2 drops to flavour quark, yoghurt etc. They are quite expensive and apparently last a long time. I've never bothered although they do some lovely flavours but I'm quite happy with plain quark.
Glad everything is OK with you Shala. Think we were a bit worried that you hadn't been posting as you used to post quite regularly and hadn't said anything about holidays or anything. Sorry work is taking it's toll but if you've had enough by the time you get home then it's not worth trying to do anything you don't feel like doing! Hope that makes sense.
Looking forward to the new thread when you find time to set it up. Thanks for your efforts with this.

shala I weigh on a Sunday I lost lb today and lost .5 last Sunday and put on 2,5lb week before. Sorry I confuse myself :think:0 -
Today's menu:
Breakfast:bowl overflowing with watermelon and honeydew melon, followed by a passionfruit
Lunch: leftover butternut squash soup (butternut squash, onion, garlic).
Snack: mini rice cakes (3.5 syns)
Tea: 3 vegetable fingers (6 syns),mash potato containing 15g cheese(3 syns) and milk from allowance, served with sweet potato wedges, peas and carrot
Skimmed milk used in cups of tea.
Can't believe I am still to have my HEB-am feeling as full as a goog (have just googled the expression because wasn't sure if many people have heard it in this part of the world. My definition has nothing to do with the drug "ecstasy",which seems to be another meaning of the word these days :eek:).I might push the boat out and have a couple of hi-fi bars later.
Also had 30 minutes brisk walking this afternoon.SPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76

Are the vegetable fingers something you made yourself?0
