try buying a really scented one (usually the cheaper own brands) decant half or third to empty bottle and top up with water. I do this-you still get the pong but spend less pennies! Janewannabeamillionaire0

A little bit of fabric softener to the water.

nor with a nine iron.......:rolleyes:0 -
if your iron needs distilled water, the water from defrosting a fridge or freezer is distilled and can be bottled up and used.0

Also, water from a dehumidifier. It's much easier to bottle too; you don't have to defrost your freezer. Unless you do not have a dehumidifier.0

Can anyone tell me if letting the water in a kettle boil and then cool down is definitely de-ironised water/distilled water? I ask as my OH is currently paying £1.32 a litre from ASDA for this water for his CPAP machine and we were told by the nurse that we must use de-ironised water and if we broke the machine by using normal water then we'd be wasting NHS money etc etc etc so i don;t want to use the wrong stuff in the machine (and i can;t get it on prescription - i have asked)0 -
I spray the clothes directly with a small amount of fabric conditioner mixed into a spray bottle of water. Pretty sure you could just add perfume that way too. What would be the difference just smell coming from a different place!!Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01
