Hospital charges for blue badge parking

My local hospital is planning on changing its parking charges (raising them to £4.50 for two hours) for all drivers (up until now, Blue badge holder could park free of charge for up to 3 hours) - this must make my hospital the meanest hospital in the country ?
This is to pay for a new carpark, where hospital staff are allowed to park (at reduced rates/free) - the proceeds of the parking charges do not go to the NHS, but to the contractor who built the car park !!
Do any other hospitals charge for blue badge parking ?

Doesn't say must. However you don't give much info in your first post apart from the fact that they will be charging.

Do you begrudge staff who are often low paid and working unsocial hours on shifts the chance to have reduced charges for parking? Staff should have free parking in my opinion.Sell £1500
