Today I am grateful for fast trains, for seeing my sister, for lots of chatting at mum's church, for a couple of homes suggestions to follow up, for a new jigsaw, for hugs from dd, for being home, for getting a forward facing table seat with a socket all to myself, for leaving some soup in the fridge last week instead of eating it which means I have food for tomorrow's lunch, for having people around me to support me when it all gets too much.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

Yesterday was a NSD. Today wasn't - went shopping for this weeks supplies and found some good yellow sticker bargains too.
Now at 6/15 NSD.
Today I'm grateful for the lovely weather we've had today. Lots of sunshine and mild temperatures.
I'm also grateful to myself for sticking to the diet plan today. One day at a time.February Grocery Budget: £190.75/£350.00

Skint Teacher Thank you.
ccl hope you had a relaxing day.
mrshubbard doing great on the challenges.
Lauralozzle well done on sticking to your diet. I am eating a lot less rubbish but am torn between eating what I should and clearing out the freezer.
I am tired but happy. felt starnge earlier but got myself out of it. I have made rice salad, bean salad, chunky coleslaw (low fat dressing rather than mayo), 5 portions of (veg heavy) chilli, 2 cauliflower dhal, 1 cheese sauce (1 eaten with cauli and pasta) and 4 or 5 portions of veg curry (waiting for more boxes to dry).
Remaining things from the freezer are stuffed in the bottom of the fridge and freezer has been turned off. Hopefully can wipe it and set it off again in the morning and then start to restock. Want to bake as well (would have had to buy milk to bake and am too tired now anyway). 3 chicken breasts are defrosting and will be tandooried tomorrow.
Used up all sorts of odds and ends (and lots of frozen veg). Been up and down the yard to the bins like a yoyo. Nearly all the washing up is done, too.
Today I am grateful for a pleasant and productive cooking session, for life on the car park -two young men mending a roof, and for cheap and healthy food to eat. A NSD too.My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -

Another NSD taking me to 5/15. We had planned to get some things for the garden and walk along the beach but felt crappy and tired after work so just came home and crashed on the sofa with a book.
Had a look at the laptop, letters d and q are also not working as well as the s. It turns out OH 'may' have spilt some tea on it  I've not been able to swap the keys to other ones but have worked out how to use the on screen keyboard so at least I can get into my emails and post on the forum again from it.

Good morning everyone,
This weekend was a test for me.
I'm a huge sports fan and with the rugby and football on over the weekend, while all my friends either attended our were out at it, I stayed strong and declined in order to save cash.
So NSD on Saturday and my usual mandatory groceries and petrol on Sunday.0 -
Happy Monday folks.
Sorry didn't post yesterday, ended up in bed by 7pm again Saturday night with another bout of migraine - so much for feeling wonderful after all vitamin tablets.
Booked day off this week to see if a break from a computer will help.
Yesterday I took myself out for lunch, had a lovely roast dinner, did a bit spending house, bought myself some food items and new slipper boots. Used 10 pound voucher in sainbobs so total spend was 21 pounds including lunch and house bits. Well pleased with that.
Today claiming a SFD 4/15 going to work on spends this week.
Will unsubscribe to emails as they try to attack me.
Grateful for

Hello again (after my usual weekend forum abstinence).
Had a great but busy weekend. DH was away at a football and drinking session. So I was on my own with the kids most weekend. Finished my DIY projects (guest bedroom and boiler room). So this week I will restore order, i.e. tidy up all the tools and materials, catch up with the cleaning and tidying in general that has been neglected and either read or craft in the evenings. Also got some weeding done in the garden. DH will be away for two nights with work next week and I think I'll try and start my next project (our bedroom) then. Cut DD's hair and again she was upset that I left it too long (chin length bob) as it's not like her brother's.
Preparing some salad pots for the weekend was a success. Whenever the rest tucked into cooked breakfast or bagels and cream cheese etc. I had one of them. Already starting to feel lest bloated.
Will have to chase up the PO. Got a card through the door that a parcel is at the local PO but it wasn't there. Luckily DS's birthday is not till May.
Today I'm grateful for
*less bloating
*finding some fellow diy and gardening enthusiast in my colleagues
*a nice day for a runDEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250
