I bid & won car on ebay,
When I went to collect, test drove, car was making racket, I walked away. Seller was annoyed saying I should take it, you bid to buy.
I walked away, people will take the pee.
You really should see & hear the car running.
If you're going to buy with address discrepancy, I'd ask to see other proofs of ID & address.
.
This was utterly out of order, its a auction you bid to buy not to go and have a look and decide your impulse bid was a mistake. The time to inspect the goods is before bidding or you make your bid and live we the consequences. Anyone doing this to me is getting negative feedback and a bill for my ebay fees.0 -
Yep sounds like a trader to me and you had a lucky escape.0

Even if I were insured, which I'm not, I wouldn't have been able to test drive it because of them! She said no road tax on it but surely I could take it a few yards as they live on a private road. Very small but even so.0
