  • Spender; I too rememebered what happened last year and I posted a cautious warning with a link to last years warning thread on littlewoods code, but it seems that people are way too caught up in the euphoric moment of the easy codes to take any notice.

However I note that people are begining to get stung by littlewoods as theres another thread of people who have now being refused codes and littlewoods claiming the full amount...they are now wondering what to do....

I think people will just have to find out for themselves, some will get away with it but a lot of others wont unfortunatley....:o

Have the previous charge backs been for those opening accounts or paying by debit/credit cards?
I paid by debit card and they have taken the whole amount but I understand that I will be refunded the discount amount( I hope).

Please can I issue a note of caution. We had this last year when we all used codes and Littlewoods starting claiming money back from people's cards. Please please be careful and only spend if you can afford to lose the total amount. I got stung and will never order again from Littlewoods.
If you have told your bank not to allow Littlewoods to take out any money they cant take it a later date can they?

  • Have placed a few more orders for pressies for my son, have enough money in my account in case they charge full price and will just send them back if they do:o

The problem with littlewoods and codes is that they let you have the reduction, credit back your payment etc and then 2/3 months later they recharge you, by then lots of the items will have been used or given as pressies and you are then stuck with a large bill.

but on what basis will they take the money back? are the vouchers not for redemption purposes? i don't see the problem here unless someone is being unfair with them and taking liberties many times with it

I have posted about this before, I think that's exactly what's happening. I don't think they'd notice too much if everyone just used one voucher but they stand to lose thousands.
  • i havent been charged yet???? have people been charged before they get their items or after?
