I will remove the last but one paragraph I think. I just want to be enough for them to amend their records, I understand if I send it recorded with proof of postage then they will see it, I just don't want to miss any LBC or anything of the like by sending to the old address.

    Thank you DollyDee

a recorded (or whatever its called this week) can be refused , therefore a refusal meens they have not read it , with POP , any letter sent by 1st class is deemed to be delivered 2 working days afterwards .

it is either recorded OR with proof of postage , you need the later , for the reasons stated

Thank you both, I will get Proof Of Posting.. Lets hope this brings it away from the DC and back to the PPC sending things to the correct address, that way I will be to get this back on track, want this sorted once and for all....

I'd reference in the letter that proof of posting has been retained, just so they know they're not up against someone who'll simply roll over.
  • new laws are being implemented by the DVLA as we speak (or in the next 5 yrs!)
at present parking cos can only get info from the DVLA for 6 mths , debt collectors have 6 yrs , rules coming in (?) will lower the time a debt collector can contact the DVLA in relation to a private parking tikcket down to 6 mths

this has come about after the abuse caused by the likes of TNC, in some cases 2 yrs after the event.

Nice touch DoaM! will add that as a reference.

twhitehousescat, its about time. I think there needs to be fairness shown from both sides, If anyone was parked unlawfully then it is right they should be held accountable, I pay fines if I get them as I am bang to rights, as I am sure anyone would.

As a newbie, this is massively confusing and you can see why so many roll over.
