  • Morning.

    NSD yesterday

Received car insurance renewal. Have been quoted £384.68 to stay with the same company. I tried to see if I could get it any cheaper but the cheapest one was £459, so I might as well stay with Shelia's wheels as they have been the cheapest for the last 4 years for me.

Insurance payment is due on the 18th March and I haven't saved separately for this. So I may have to use my redundancy money but I won't receive it until 31st March.

The cheque for £283 I paid in has now cleared along with £30.50 from Quidco.
I have now paid my Vanquis card in full £511.31 and transferred the £30.50 into my debt repayment savings account which now has £273.70.

    To do
    • Book car in for repair. I had an advisory note on my last MOT so I would like my work garage to have a look at it before I leave.
    • Find out about work sharesave - can I sell them before I leave?
    • Nice pile of ironing to do before it gets any bigger.

    Keeping it short today
    Smile loan - £2821.98 / £0:)
    Lloyds CC - £3102.54 / £3071.51
    B'Card - £7615.65 / £7444.30
    Bank of mom - £6000 / £6000
    28/02/17 £ 19,540.17 / £16515.81 05/04/17

  • OH NO!

I have just got a speeding ticket for last Friday

Now my insurance will go up. No excuse really as I was rushing to get back to work. Would have been better being a few minutes late.
I will not be doing that again.

Hoping I get to go on a speed awareness course instead of having points.:(

  • Morning.

NSD again yesterday but this is unlikely to happen today as DS1 and DS2 have eaten all the food:eek:

Sent my speeding ticket form back, there was no point in delaying it and I just want it sorted as quickly as possible due to my car insurance being renewed in a couple of weeks.

We had a team meeting yesterday and everyone has been told that the hours are changing. So the part timers who work set hours now have to start at 8am on some days and finish at 6pm on others. This will be a big change for them as one lady has been doing the lunch time shift for a lifetime. I am so glad I am leaving before it changes as this will effect the school run and I don't know how I would have been able to work around it without asking some one else to pick/drop the kids off which is not something I would want to do. Looks like they will have many more changes to come and it may not be positive.

  • Day off today :j

I will be going to slimming world at 9:30 this morning and it's not going to be pretty. I am such an emotional eater and after how I felt over the weekend and the beginning of the week I didn't feel like eating healthy food. I am just not that girl that has a break up and then loses the weight :rotfl::rotfl: I just feel like I put too much pressure on my self. Oh well today is another day.

I have £5.27 in my purse and £4.95 will be spent on s/world. I may make a cake (for the kids) if I have all the ingredients in as the kids have eaten all the snacks and just want more. Will need to do a shop but have to check what I have first. I am sure I can make something up without going to the shops. Kids will be staying at their dads tonight and won't be back until tomorrow evening which I am happy about as he tends to spend less and less time with them.

I have someone coming round to do a questionnaire. I have been doing this for the last 5 years and I really enjoyed it at first as the same lady came every year for the first 3 years. Last year it was a bloke and this year it is someone different again. I am not sure it is worth it for a £10 gift card anymore. I'll see how it goes.

Nothing else to do for today other than cleaning up and having a stress free day.

(4 weeks today and counting :))

wow boy is it windy out there

I went to lidl to get a few things and a little old lady was trying to get in but the wind was so strong she was holding onto a post. I had to hold her had and walk her into the store. That's my good deed for the day :A

Be careful out there people :)

As I thought I have put 2lbs on this week. Back to the drawing board.

The interviewer who is suppose to come to my house at 12:30 turned up at 10 am  He called me to say he was there and I reminded him I said 12:30. This is not a good start :(

Forgot to say I spent £7.70 in Lidl.

  • Well done on all your work so far, it does sound like your ex is your ex for good reason horrible when kids are involved in someone's thoughtlessness,

Don't worry about the weight this week, at least you went and it will help with the motivation, just start from today and you'll soon get back into good habits (although the occasional treat is needed).

Lovely good deed today, feel sorry for anyone that needs to go out today!

Boo to interviewer, are they coming back later?

    Thanks for your kind words.
My occasional treat seems to happen when I am anxious about something or after speaking to my ex. I have since only had text message contact with him and I have been fine. He is limited to wait he can say in a text and I just keep it very short.

The interviewer came back and he was late. I have to say he was the worse interviewer I have experienced so far, he would ask me the questions and then answer them before I did :rotfl: he could have just done it himself. I hope I don't get him again next year.
