Not surprised that Barclays are bottom.
Awful place to work; let alone helping customers. I worked there for over 25 years. Taken early retirement and thankfully my pension is with another company after I was outsourced to them a few years ago. Their pension scheme has had problems for many years; although I do not envisage that it will stop.
I have a bet with a friend that still works at Barclays how long the ceo Staley will last. I reckon that he will will last less than 2 years; especially as the investors are not very impressed with him. He has employed his ex-company JP Morgan to some senior positions within Barclays. Not sure why as I am not convinced by JPM.I
I laugh at their adverts...mortgages, Wealth Mg (did anyone understand the advert ?), the Go-to bank (can't remember the last time hat we saw this one but it was funny), etc. I find the digital eagles advert especially amusing. How do they think this will last when you can't book anything with an eagle via your local branch ? It will soon stop as will the adverts.
I remember the days when the shares were priced over £8.
I think the FOS are still investigating when the bank involved Qatar investors to prevent the government taking it over in 2008.
Mmm,....I need to sell more shares; especially with idiots like the ceo and HR employee relations director, who I consider as incompetent. Both overpaid and over-graded IMHO.0 -

Not for the first time you fail to comprehend the difference between the FOS and the FCA.
25 years at the bank or 25 days?

These polls are about as valid as those 'Estate Agent of the year/month whatever'. If they really suck or are corrupt then it will get reported but otherwise much of a muchness. Waste of time.0

If you always ask the same people the same question in the same way, surprise, surprise you get the same answer
The poll format is floored.
The bank with the best customer service is the one you never have to contact, as they get it right every time.0 -
Not FD again, didn't even see the request for a vote.
Must have been out some where ! interesting !0 -

:rotfl:;):pShock horror, First Direct rated top again, who'd have imagined that!
And the lack of value of these polls is, as always, emphasised by all the 'bad bank is good for me'/'good bank is bad for me' posts that just reinforce how subjective and ultimately pointless exercises like this are....
