Payday!
Have done the usual money shuffle and paid £370 to the credit card meaning I'm now debt free! (excluding my mortgage) :j
Now to save up as much as possible to help me move and boost the emergency fund.
The past 2 weeks have been really good to me, hope everyone is doing well.
I'm not sure whether to do a new diary in this forum or in mortgage free wannabe... The money isn't going to overpay but is to cover fees and any work needed...
Decisions decisions :T0 -

I think it's time I get my a*** in gear and get my flat finished for when I finally put it on the market and move.
With this in mind and how no room is finished, thought I'd write a list on here of things to do to help keep me accountable- carpet bedroom
- paint bedroom ceiling
- fill in small hole in bedroom wall
- new bedroom curtains
- repaint white walls in living room
- paint ceiling in living room
- lay laminate flooring in living room
- Sand dark wood in living room
- paint wood in living room
- get blown double glazing fixed
- get window sill redone (all plastic edging at the moment, it's horrible)
- paint kitchen walls
- paint kitchen ceiling
- finish sanding wood in hallway
- paint wood in hallway
- paint walls in hallway
- paint ceiling in hallway
- lay laminate in hallway
- finish cleaning grout haze in bathroom
- fix tiling where leak was in bathroom
- lay flooring in bathroom
- Sand wood in bathroom
- paint wood in bathroom
As you can see, a rather large list!!
My plan is to try to do something at least one evening a week and at least part of a weekend. When I eventually lay the laminate flooring I'll be booking half a week to a week off work and I will be getting someone in to do the window and carpet.
Hope anyone reading is doing OK!0
