  • Well, I've just been shopping in Morrisons, and got a free cake! It's in the oven now, and you can't have a go at me, coz it's free (when I've sent the lid and the receipt back)! Obviously, it can't count towards my challenge, as it's not home made, so I'll have to eat it myself! Shame eh? :D

No2 son made a carrot cake at the weekend and took a HUGE piece to his Dads (my ex) does that count?

He did all the work, I just grated the carrots. :o

Nope. Only cakes cooked from today onwards count, and PIECES don't count either, it has to be the whole cake. Harsh but fair, sorry. :p

But that one serves 8 - 12

No, that one would have served maybe 4, at a push.

And anyway, it's all gone wrong. You have to put the box in the oven for 10 mins, take it out and stir it, then put it back in.

However, the cardboard the box is made of is so cheap and thin that when you take hold of the box, it just flexes and dumps all the contents into your oven. I've asked if they'll pop round and clean it, but I'm not holding out much hope. :(
