Not good with technology, I'm afraid - any tips on posting pictures - I've got a digital camera, but can't work out how to get the pictures in a post!
rumbly x
Make the cake, take the photos & surprise your mum. We'll sort the posting bit out later. If you can get them onto the PC, you can get them on here.If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
Happy Birthday Mr BE - nice idea about the cakes.Never let your sucesses go to your head and never let your failures go to your heart.:beer:0

Today is my birthday, as some of you have noticed already. :j
I would like you to celebrate with me, by baking a cake.
HOWEVER, THERE ARE RULES!
The cake must be home made (goes without saying really  )
The cake must not be for you.
It can be for anyone that you think needs a cake: your mum, a helpful neighbour, that little old lady down the road that looks like she's short of cake, the postman, anyone (but try to avoid your immediate household, unless DH/DW has been working his/her little socks off and needs a reward).
It must not be their birthday or any other special occasion. It must be out of the blue, coz that's more fun.
If at all possible, I would like to see a picture of the cake on this thread, with details of who you've given it to, and why. I understand not everyone can post pictures, but you can all write descriptions!
Anyone on a budget, or having a bit of a tight month is, of course, automatically excused - but there is no time limit on this challenge. It can be done anytime, as the thread'll still be here!
Off you go then......
Oh yeah...and double points for blokes who successfully complete the challenge.
Parkin
Chocolate yoghurt cake
Carrot cake
Brill idea, see you in Brum!Panda xx

I baked two cakes for work last week. One of them was a lemon drizzle - does that countde do-do-do, de dar-dar-dar0 -
Well, I've just been shopping in Morrisons, and got a free cake! It's in the oven now, and you can't have a go at me, coz it's free (when I've sent the lid and the receipt back)! Obviously, it can't count towards my challenge, as it's not home made, so I'll have to eat it myself! Shame eh?If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0
