cakes 3 AND 4 are in the oven!
the boys had a look in their eye that said 'make me cake'
so to be on the safe side, of my challenge, I've made 2!
**I've had to put cake 2 in a sq flatter tin, will it be ok? I'll take it out earlier, the 'original' is baked in a loaf tin.Panda xx

Well the cake is baked and I'm off to take it to my brother and his fiancee. Have taken a pic so if some kind soul can talk me through uploading it later then I'll do it this evening! I made a simple chocolate sponge with a blueberry and lavender jam and choc buttercream filling. I'll let you know if they like it!0

I got some new shoes.. but I want a cakey foody recipe that I will like.. so far I've made carrot cake, pickles and christmas cake.. and I don't like any of them..
Actually I don't much like cake at all.. I am going to surprise hubby with a christmas cake without dried fruit.. it will have nuts and cherries and some chocolate cips because he likes those, but he doesn't like dried fruits in cake.. but I won't eat that either, I don't like nuts much lol

I am allergic to red fruits.. they bring me out in a rash. I don't like dried fruits of any kind. I can't eat bananas, avacado or kiwi fruit (part of my latex allergy)
