Hmm I've noticed that at the moment as we're eating quite veggie and it is the season of the root vegetable that we are using the fridge much less so i'd stock up on:
beans, mixed, tinned/dried
potatoes
beetroot
swede
celeriac (the root that won't die!!)
onions
tinned tomatoes
tinned sweetcorn
tinned tuna or salmon
anchovies
dried chillis
chorizo - no need to keep in fridge if you buy a whole dried one
tinned olives
garlic
pasta
rice
flour
oil - to make chapatis
eggs
long life milk
TBH the things on that list form the basis of our meals anyway, fresh veg that doesn't keep so long, i.e. peppers, green veg and meat then get added. Oh and cheese, mmm cheese!Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it!'0 -
