Just thought I heard a knock on door and it was the postman with this book

It's one 10,000 so hope more on MSE have won.
Parcel was so, so cold. I think we are the last house on the round so postie can pack up and get in the warm.
Welcome thewinner2018. Don't worry about posting here you are welcome.
I too have thought about doing some of the TV comps by post but haven't done so yet. The odds aren't great but as the old adage goes you have to be in it to win it. Best thing is to enter and forget all about it. Good luck.0 -
I had porridge for breakfast too - had mine with blueberries and touch sugar.
Had raspberries with it yesterday and like bananas too. Don't really fancy salt. Always remember my dad's gran and her husband coming to stay when I was a kid and mum making them porridge every morning and then she overheard great gran saying " why she has to spoil it putting sugar on it!"
I wouldn't do the TV comps myself thewinner2018 but good luck to you.
I wear a woolly scarf and gloves all winter Alfie as hate being cold.
Are you planning anything for your big birthday Sylvia?
Well done on the book leanfun.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Shiels I do not put salt on it but in it while it is cooking. Usually just put milk on it once it is in the bowl. You really cannot taste the salt but it tastes really different without it.0

I think some people do put salt on top of it rose. Used to put salt in it while cooking but DH has to watch his blood pressure so we don't use it at all now. (except on fish and chips!) My blood pressure is pretty low but I want to support DH and don't use salt very often.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Hi everyone
Back from town - it's been a cold day today. I've seen what I'm going to buy so I'll go into town next week and purchase - just need to decide what one I want to get as there is more than one design!
Don't add salt to my food at all - sometimes find some foods rather salty for my taste.A good life is when you assume nothing, do more, need less, smile often, dream big, laugh a lot, and realise how blessed you are.

Chances of winning are slim true but i have been playing lotto/euromillion for a while and chances of winning lottery seemed even slimmer. Thats why I thought i could use the money i spend on lotto on ITV Comps and see if it makes any difference.
I thought postal entries have equal chance as online or SMS. Number of entries are unlimited as long as one envelop or post card only has one entry. Let me know what you think.
Sorry guys if im posting this on the wrong thread, I am a newbee to MSE.
Thanks
Postal have an equal (almost no) chance of winning the same as the other entry methods but ITV comps are possibly one of the few gambles that are worse than playing the lottery and there are not many of those.
Lottery only pays around 50p back in prizes for each £1 staked, for ITV to be doing the same they should be paying out more than £600,000 a week, they pay nothing like that and their bigger prize competitions are often open for several weeks.
The 49's (a lottery bet with most bookmakers) pays 150,000 to 1 for the top prize so for the value of one second class stamp you could win £82,500 and the odds of winning, about 318,000 to one, are far better than ITV competitions offering prizes anywhere near the same value. (When lotto hotpicks was effectively the same bet the lotto paid out 130,000 to one)0 -
