Morning on this brrr.. morning only a few snow flakes here so far.
Sheils know what you mean about sleeping. This last year or so I've had problems too.
Yesterday we brought DS and KGs home here after school just made it as some snow flakes started down there. I was awake 3 then 5am then heard GKs at 6.30! Other GS near us, all of five has been on the phone to make sure they are here so he can come over.
Sylvia so it continues.
Indie hope you have a restful day off.
Hope the porridge has warmed you up Firefly.
Alfie and Rose take care in this weather.
Beaks congrats on your wins.
Wingo hope you are feeling better. DS still has a hacking cough but he is a lot better. GD still has a runny nose. Son in law down near Alfie still is not completely better and they keep having colds since before Christmas. I think the only day they were all ok was the one I visited them. We have been ok this year so hope we don't catch anything from them.
Hope everyone is keeping warm. Good luck all this weekend.0 -
A new Inn ... Thanks Glad.
Hope that everyone enjoys the weekend whatever you are doing.
I've got plans to go shopping as I'm looking for presents for a few birthdays that are coming up soon.
Bye for now!A good life is when you assume nothing, do more, need less, smile often, dream big, laugh a lot, and realise how blessed you are.

LOL at the above pic as we compers never seem to get time off.
Thanks for the bright new shiny Inn Glad and for your hard work.
Must have read your mind today firefly as I had porridge too.
Rose I have mine without salt or sugar just add a spoon of fat free natural yoghurt, yummie too.
We had snow yesterday around school time so went up to fetch GD but by the time we came back it had gone. Very cold here though at the moment.
One of the DD's has took 3 teenage GK's to London to see the Harry Potter studio today so a long round trip for her. The GD has it all planned out what she is going to spend her money on before she went.
I see you are busy again leanfun. The thing I find is that the DD's and DS's don't seem to realise that we are getting older (70 this year for me) and that we can't keep the pace they think we can LOL.
Hope you manage to get your present shopping done 3for.
Are yours off school this next week Wingo? Out Leeds ones are but the rest are off next week so busy 2 weeks for us.
We have a quiet day planned here today so have a lovely day everyone, whatever you are doing.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
Neighbour has just been down. She has been baking again. So have some Apple Tart and Fudge Cake to enjoy later. Yummy.0

They have a winners page here
Potential winners usually have 4 weeks to respond and have their eligibility confirmed, if they fail to do so another potential winner is selected and so on until an eligible winner makes contact - so it can be many weeks before a confirmed winner is announced.
ITV accounts reveal over 40,000,000 paid competition entries per year, add on the 3 for 2, BOGOF and "free" postal entries and they will be getting well over 1,000,000 entries per week so the chances of getting anything are so slim it's debatable if even a postal entry is worth doing.
Thanks
Chances of winning are slim true but i have been playing lotto/euromillion for a while and chances of winning lottery seemed even slimmer. Thats why I thought i could use the money i spend on lotto on ITV Comps and see if it makes any difference.
I thought postal entries have equal chance as online or SMS. Number of entries are unlimited as long as one envelop or post card only has one entry. Let me know what you think.
Sorry guys if im posting this on the wrong thread, I am a newbee to MSE.
Thanks0 -
