Hi all!

I'm pretty new to compers corner! Just finished 4 hours of comping I'm monitoring how many I'm doing and I've done 100 but they've been fiddly rafflecompters etc. I don't count the mag dailies and other dailies I do in that though... I think I'm slow :j

Hope the haircut turned out ok fire**fly. I haven't had mine cut for almost a year! Appart from hacking at it myself of course!

Sheils, you certainly did leave at the right time as it's been non stop rain and hail here. It's freezing and gloomy. They are putting an Italian restaurant right next to the hotel where you stayed

Have you got a big birthday coming up Sylvia? Let's have an Inn party for it Our kids and myself break up on 17th but some other schools broke up yesterday. Although I have a PD day on 17th and we are having a team building pamper day with cakes and biscuits but I have to take DD to orthodontist and then I've got opticians so I'm not there!

Hope your aches and pains have gone Rose. Lots of different viruses going around. DD's school sent a letter to say there have been cases of scarlet fever in her school.

Alfie, I loved the 'velcrows' pic :rotfl: it took me a while to figure it out though but then again I've had a drink tonight!

I've been to my nieces engagement for a couple of hours. I've had to console my DD1. She's been really down and tearful and she told me it was over a boy who she's got feelings for. He's in her group of college friends and they get on so well. Apparently he's always has feelings for her too and she felt the same but they are both extremely shy to ask each other out. Now another girl who's very forward has come on the scene and told her she's in a relationship with him! It's the first time DD has ever felt like this over a boy.
No wins in the post for me, only a parking ticket for DH! He's furious about it but where he parked while DD was in gymnastics only allows Parking for an hour. He decided to have a kip in the car for an hour before going in the shop for a couple of items!

Laugh out loud wingo - it took me a few minutes to work out

Another nice looking day here, think it is best being on the west coast at the moment. Quite glad we haven't anything booked.

Wingo, I would have been furious if my DH had got a parking ticket for doing that! I hope you managed to cheer your DD up. I was so shy when I was young too. Always think my DD was so lucky having 3 big brothers and 2 of her closest friends had big brothers too so she was so used to boys she was never shy with them. I remember hinting to a shy boy I liked that I really wanted to see a certain film and that worked well he did say he would take me if I wanted.
