Afternoon everyone. Had some flowers delivered this morning. They were from GK's I love them too. Postie brought me a card as well. Love the two of them to bits. DS is coming in on the way home from Faslane. Hopefully dil has had as much fuss made.

Hi Firefly thanks for the Valentine's wishes. We don't do romance here but DH has bought some special wine.

Good evening everyone, sorry not been in today but had to get car to garage early for MOT and Service. I needed break pads as well. Still its MOT'd for another year now so thats a relief.

Our thoughts are with you and your family today Wingo and big hugs are sent your way.

That was sweet of your DH bringing you a lovely cuppa this morning. Hope you enjoyed your meal and Carva tonight.

DD2 has booked a static caravan for them, DD2 and us for a week in Spring Bank at Filey so thats something to look forward to.

Sounds like we are getting rain tomorrow.

Thank you everyone :A the Chinese lantern were beautiful for dad's memorial (although we almost set a tree on fire! ) They did stay lit until they went into clouds and we couldn't see them

Hope everyone got spoilt on Valentine's Day My youngest DD got a box of chocs and a card off her 'boyfriend' They get younger these days having a boyfriend!

Sun trying to come out here again and the birds are chirping away so think we are getting ready for spring FF!!!

Caravan break sounds good t Sylvia. We love a caravan break. Glad the car got on OK.

We had a lovely Valentine's Day and really enjoyed our meal and wine.
DH is really good at cooking steaks - he has his rare and I like mine verging on the well done. You could have had some of my creamy mushroom sauce instead of a steak Alfie.

A caravan break sounds brilliant sylv - we used to enjoy
many caravan hols when the kids were youngsters -
always had a fun time. :T

do any in the end yesterday ... was busy doing other
things!

Just a quick pop in as got a busy day with Knit and natter later..

DD2 not well so have to take her bread and milk. Can I get her to go to Doctors? No of course not and she has her interview for uni on Monday too.

Aw hope your DD feels better soon Sylvia and you can persuade her to go to dr's. I generally avoid the drs too if I can! Hope you enjoy your good natter and knitting and the caravan break sounds wonderful. My kids love a caravan hol.

It is a lovely day Alfie and I do hope it's like this all next week too so you can do your gardening and I can do my diy! Mind you, it was freezing this morning and DD1 came into our room early hours as she was too cold and asked for a cuddle to warm up! Our boiler had gone off but I managed to sort it out.

Looks like spring is on the way fire**fly Do you still get all the wildlife coming into the garden?

Sheils, sounds like you had a lovely Valentine's meal I'm not a lover of steak but if I was having one I would have mine well done and with peppercorn sauce on too! I always say if I burn something...at least I know it cooked!

Lovely thought off the GK's Rose

I am sooo ready for a week off I feel so drained. I've got one more day tomorrow and then off Friday. DD2 has a gymnastics comp in Spennymoor on Sunday. The girl who is dating DD1's crush in college seems very jealous of DD1 for being friends with him. She keeps stalking DD's fb profile and writing silly things on her wall. I've told her to block the girl as she doesn't seem nice at all!
