Seem to be having a little bit of a good spell at the minute for wins, have won 2 more Goodreads books, a diary and a box of Nakd bars. All little bits but all welcome especially as only just starting to do a few more comps again.

Hi Miss Dee, thanks re DD2. I hear you are stuying too so good luck with your studies. DD has an interview for a Doctorate for Ed Phyc and didn't get an interview last year so hopefully she will have better luck this time.

Must get on and have a shower as I too have had a lazy PJ morning although I have hooved up etc.

It's another beautiful weather day here but haven't been
out to enjoy it yet cos I've had a few technical issues
going on - me thinks Gremlins have been up to no good
again! :eek: Seems ok at the mo though so fingers n'
paws crossed etc etc!

Good luck with finding a laptop comp - my little lappy is
starting to struggle a bit these days too.

That's good sound advice wingo - telling your DD to block the
girl to stop her writing silly comments on facebook wall. :T
She really doesn't sound a very nice girl at all!

Crikes leanfun - what an eventful time you all had re the
caravan holiday. :eek: I expect the kiddies thought it was quite
an adventure though. Hope you have a brilliant time today
at the British Film Institute. :T

Hope you're all ok on this glorious Friday.

According to the weather forecast .... today is going to
be another decent day :j so I'll be off out for a walk this
morning to stretch my legs and to make up for having
to spend a great deal of yesterday dealing with techie
issues.

No issues this morning - everything seems to be working
fine now. Shall also make the most and play comp catch
up!

Later on I'll be pottering about doing a bit of this and that
in my garden

..... plus maybe do a weeny bit of housework cos all this
sunshine is fairly showing up the dust!

Sun hasn't woken up here yet Alfie - really misty out. Can hardly see the river but supposed to be ok by 10am.
Didn't sleep very well so been up for a while. My mum phoned me up last night to say goodbye as they are off to Benidorm this morning and to say it wasn't looking good for my one remaining uncle. He is nearly 85 though so has had a fair inings. His daughter's partner is really ill too so she must be having a dreadful time, at least her brother is coming down from the Orkneys today to see what he can do. Think it must all have been on my mind as I just couldn't get to sleep.

Well done on wins Becks.

Anyway, hope you get a nice walk Alfie and good luck to everyone.

Morning. Still a bit dull here today

Well done on wins Miss Dee, Indie and StokieBecks.

We had an enjoyable time out yesterday. Film was good although I had to stop myself nearly dosing off as I'd been awake a lot the night before.

Sheils hope your parents enjoy their Hols. Sorry to hear about your uncle.

Alfie yesterday I was thinking must try to do a bit more walking. Hope you enjoy yours today. Pleased you sorted tech probs.

Good luck with catching up Firefly. Hope puzzles went well yesterday.

Miss Dee haven't seen any Laotop comps for ages.

Well DD1s son is here today. She took him away to a friend's the last two days so expect he'll just want a quiet time today. He does like a run in the park though (ho dear sounds like taking a dog out).
