    Good Morning,

Wet and miserable here and set to stay for next few days I think. We are heading off to Darlington and Scotch Corner tomorrrow though where the weather is supposed to be OK. (fingers crossed!) DS3 coming home on Sunday 26th so will be home for 2 weeks then.
Had a decent sleep last night thanks - started to feel really ill after our walk yesterday which was just due to being tired I think. Anyway fine now. Haven't heard anything from parents or about uncle so far.

Wingo we had to go 60 miles to DD's orthodentist every month for over a year and at the start it was 3 times in one week. She had to get teeth out as her mouth was crowded and teeth were all over the place. Her teeth are perfect now and if we had been paying we were told it would have cost £3,000! Hope it all goes well for your DD.

Must get a few comps done.
Hope everyone has a lovely day.

Good morning all, late up today as been awake until about 3am the last 2 sleeps so was needing extra sleep. I must be going around this lack of sleep thing lol.

I am like you Wingo, love the Chase but often fall asleep near the final chase and wake up when its all over.

Got a line of washing out today and making the most of the sun while it lasts! I did want a lie in today but no such luck with neighbours dog crying and yapping and our dog feeling randy wanting to get to neighbours dog!

Well done on the Oyster sauce/book win fire**fly :j I got one of those in the post a while before Xmas but I've checked and it wasn't from diddlydoops post, I can't recall where I got mine from! I haven't tried it yet but will put in stir fry some time :)

Hope you're feeling better today Sheils xx We are quite lucky as our orthodontist is just in town and she's there again Wednesday. She's excited for braces but I'm not sure if I like the idea of her having a false tooth at her age and the other option might not look right in her mouth. She gets upset now as her brother and sis call her piano teeth!

Hope you enjoy your Saturday 3for and Rose :)

I saw the most loveliest thing yesterday that brought tears to my eyes. A young lad was pushing an elderly man in a wheelchair and the elderly man was dressed in a captains uniform. I guessed he was previously a captain but had dementia by the things he was saying. It was lovely to see the young man carrying out his wishes and acting the way he would want him to. Everyone was saluting him or saying good afternoon sir/captain. Dementia is an awful illness forgetting your loved ones and memories. I would hate that to happen but I do hope more awareness can be done for this.

  • Sylvia there is a tesco one and an asda one for the soup - think you can win once from each site. It is one per household for each but can win from both
