though must admit we are lucky to have a wide variety now
days not like in the earlier years when it was just the

Do you ever find yourself singing and doing the dances whenever you buy something like a fudge ...'a finger of fudge is just enough to give your kids a treat' or a club biscuit...'if you like lot of chocolate on your biscuit join our club' No? Must be just me then!

Morning peeps. Nice and bright here. Looks like the sun is going to come out shortly. Wish the bin men would change their round on a Sunday morning. At 7am they stop right outside my bedroom window to empty our bins and if I am not awake already then they soon make sure I am. Hope everyone is well this morning and for those who need one ((((hugs)))).

Just can't believe how mild it is here at the mo - it's
lovely to see all the 'spring' flowers starting to show
themselves .... just hope there's not a very sharp frost
lurking round the corner - just waiting to pounce!

I also love the latest flash advert fire**fly with the singing
dog :T and can also remember 'finger of fudge' and the
club biscuit one wingo. Found the shake and vac ad

Those were the days!

I can also remember when there were hardly any TV
channels, definitely no programmes on through the day
..... and this .....





^^^ This was taken (I think) 2009 of the same person -
apparently she lives/lived in the New Forest - her father
designed the original test card!

Then there was the joy of TV programmes in actual colour
as opposed to black and white! :eek: :rotfl:

Sorry to hear about your noisy binmen rose - mine
aren't so bad but we have a monthly glass collection and
you can most definitely hear them! :eek: It's very handy
but I'm so pleased that it's only once a month!

Good morning all, dull and cloudy here today at the moment.

Thank you all for your contributions in giving me a trip down memory lane wth the adverts etc. Its good to have a sing and a laugh. The adverts were so much better years ago. One I hate most nowadays is those stupid men jumping about in hotpants advertising Money Supermarket. At least we have sky so we can pause it and ff when its finished.

Thought we were having a peaceful weekend but DG's DD1 has just rung to say they are picking us up at 12 and taking us for lunch so must jump in the shower.

We are having my DD2's dog for a few days as they are going to Sheffield today for a few days so will have to move all of Lotties food otherwise she will demolish it all. She is like a hoover with any food.
