Had a phone call from DS . Could I make some food for his Navy friend for his freezer as he is going on to funny shifts as sub is going out in a few weeks. Nipped round to see what he wanted. So he is off to Asda with a list.

Know what you mean firefly Corie's not the same these days. Enjoyed breakfast out and did a big shop. Had to go to DD2' s thisafternoon to feed 2 rabbits, 8 guinea pigs and 3 tortoise, took a load of veg for them. Rosie is in the naughty corner again! She started to pull the stuffing out of Lotties bedding. She is off home tomorrow when they get back. DD's interview day at uni went well but there 30 of them after 15 places so will have to wait and see.

I prefer the old Corrie back in the day fire**fly. I've gone right off Eastenders too. Did they think we would be fooled by the buckets in the Vic with the roof dripping when there wasn't a drop of rain when they showed outside in the square!

Hope it's nothing too serious happening your way Rose. We live not too far from a hospital so we see hospital helicopter all the time over our house.

Have you had some good weather today for gardening Alfie? It's been between 10-13deg here apparently but it looked very dull. I can't wait till summer to get some grass back and a bit of a decent garden! Jaspers ruined ours.

I'm watching the thing about David Badiel's dad, he has picks disease, a degenerative disease and form of dementia. It brings back memories when I was doing nurse training and there was a lady with it who was only 44 yrs and she used to work on the ward herself apparently. It can start around the age of 40 but she had it aggressively already and forgot how to feed herself and could throw food at you and become aggressive. Her DH loved the bones off her still and it was so sad to see how this disease took hold of her. She was a lovely lady, I wish I knew how things were with her and the family now.

I forgot to say, I won a free Parmo from a popular restaurant in town for predicting the correct football score at the weekend! That's DD and DS tea sorted tomorrow!

Morning, we had a lovely sunny day yesterday and it was warm...only downside was i was at work,lol.Got 4 days off now so hope we have some nice weather,i want to get out in the garden and tidy up and do some planting.Got lots of washing to do.wish i knew where it came from. DS girlfriend started her new job yesterday and seems to like it.wasn't sure she would as nursing homes don't suit everyone.Right time to catch up with a few comps.Hope you all have a lucky day.

Just can't believe so much can happen in such a tiny
village! :rotfl::rotfl: Must admit though ... the recent
dementia storyline was excellent and brought much needed
awareness to a very cruel illness.

Morning. We've had a quiet few days but still feel tired. Been trying to catch up with some comps while it was quiet here. It's been very warm and sunny here.

Hope you have some restful days off Indie. Pleased to hear about your DSs GF. It will be so much better for her without the long journey to work.

Wingo well done your DD2. Great to have such an interest and talent.

Sylvia you have been busy with all the animals. Do hope your DD is successful.

I managed to wean myself off Eastenders years ago when the story lines became very dire. so dont watch any soaps now. Have been watching the Indian Hospital program.

I think I might be like Indie and Alfie and take a look in the garden today.
