:hello: Good morning everyone
After a beautiful day yesterday it's now a rather damp start to
Michaelmas Day here at the mo- in fact it's been absolutely
chucking it down - only just easing off now!
Thankfully it's going to improve as the day goes on - really
not looking forward to Sunday though - apparently it seems as
if a hooley is on the cards!
However the birdies are singing away this morning so all is
well in their little world!lol, thanks Alfie:rotfl:
here's one for our puddys..
:T Aww - that's a brilliant find fire**fly - purrfect for puddys!
I saw it this morning on the Lolcats thread - thought it
was so fitting re our feline friends! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Here's a linky to the thread for anyone who has not ventured
over to the Arms - it's guaranteed to make you chuckle!

It's been ages since I've popped in here, but have recently become more active with comping again, so just wanted to pop my head in and say hi!
Hope you're all keeping well!
I've gotten my office into entering comps, and now we have Friday lunchtimes set aside for them! haha.
Anyway, lucky dust to all!!

Hi everyone. Just been reading back thanks all for the pics and poems.
Thanks too for good wishes for DH his shoulder is much better we managed to buy some volterol tablets and they did the trick. He hasn't taken any for two days so must be lots better.
Sylvia time lies. Happy Birthday to your DD for her 50th. Often wondered about all the various vodkas I see in comps. As Indie said we used to just have one until recently.
Hi euronorris good luck to you and your colleagues.
End of month has come round quickly. Good luck everyone with all the comps.0 -
Afternoon everyone. I have the whole weekend off for a change. Can't remember when i last had that..lol. It's been raining all morning but looks a bit brighter now,and the rain has stopped. Trying to do the EOM's but as usual there are lots of them. Hope you all have a good day.0

Well I am back! Had a lovely time and on the whole the weather was pretty kind to us. Really enjoyed seeing some new places and returning to some old haunts from years back.
It is bucketing down at home now though and forecast bad with rain and heavy winds.
The end of holiday was spoilt a bit as our exhaust fell off the car on the M6! Had to phone Mitsubishi as car under warranty with recovery service etc. They were very good but everything takes so long and we had a hotel booked at Preston and car had to stay at Stoke until next day to get new exhaust so we had to get hire car and go 70 miles north on busy motorway (roadworks everywhere) and then return next day. Took so long for everything that we didn't get home until after 7pm last night when we had planned to be back about 2pm. At least Mitsubishi picked up most of bill, cost us £10 in car excess insurance and £15 in petrol. Nice to be home with own car parked in drive. Hate having hire car .
Been trying to keep up with you all.
Anyway, so much to do here I must get on.
Wishing everyone a lucky October.
