Thanks everyone. We had a great night. We picked the tickets up from the hotel in Leisteer square and then watched the stars arrive.

Margot Robie autographed my ticket and realised what I had given her to sign and said hope we enjoyed the show. We went into the cinema for 6.45 but the actors were still outside but they did a great thing of interviewing them outside the Odeon and showing that on the screening the cinema.

They had a life guards band playing on the red carpet and they played a fan fair to introduce the stars on the stage. Apparently his parents had a band play fir Christopher's birthday one year.

Film was brilliant the Irish actor playing AA Miln should be up for an Oscar. The young Christopher was only ten but nearly stole the show. It was a great film but sad, well worth watching.

We scrubbed up well and had a great experience all thanks to comping.

Hope you enjoyed Victoria and Abdul Indie. What was that like?

Great you have your glasses Alfie. I need to go for some too.

love the programme - so pleased it's back with a
    new series. :T

leanfun - your red carpet evening sounds absolutely
wonderful and the stars were so friendly. Lovely hearing
    the band playing too.

So ..... you'd definitely recommend the film then! :D

I wonder when it'll be out on DVD? I'll have to look into
that - would love to add it to my collection of favs. :grinheart

Well - must get on. Have a lovely and lucky day all and
please take care whatever you're up to.

Well done on the red carpet win leanfun.Sounds a great night out. I am looking forward to it coming out at the cinema, In the cinema we went they have an enormous photo album that you can turn the pages and see photos of christopher ect. They are all held in by corner stickers, just like the old albums had. I couldn't resist having a look through it and can imagine small kids loving it, but needing help turning the pages..lol
Victoria and Albert was a very good film, and the story line is mostly true. It's a film i would watch again. It has some very funny one liners in.
I came home from work to a win yesterday, i won a back to school bundle with the FPL,Mumsnet,Skintdad comps. Can't tell which one it was as had emails from all of them..lol. Sure my nephews will be please with it. Right must get on, another coffee first i think. Hope you all have a good day.

    Hi everyone,

Having a lovely break and am now an expert on the yellow buses in Bournemouth!:D Have seen a lot of the area.
Was at Beaulieu Motor Museum yesterday and it rained nearly all day but it didn't matter that much. Got a shock at how many ponies wandered across the road in the New Forest National Park area though. (not to mention cattle and donkeys!!!) DH was in his glory at the museum though as he has always wanted to visit.
Well done to all the winners. Nothing here but Quidco says it has paid my £96 into my bank account already from their last comp :)
Heading to Taunton tomorrow and then on to Minehead via Lynton and Lynmouth. After Minehead we have a caravan at Burnham on Sea for 4 nights,
    Good Luck all.

    :hello: Good morning everyone

It was the most beautiful day yesterday - it got fairly warm -
was out gardening for a good part of the day and hoping to
get out there today and tomorrow and continue pruning etc
because apparently the weather is going to be similar to
    yesterday.

    Happy days! soleil07j.gif

Pleased that you're both having a lovely time sheils. The
Beaulieu Motor Museum is brilliant - now you know what
I mean about the animals wandering all over the roads! :p

Good morning all, hope you are OK today, hugs for anyone needing one.

Loving your pics this morning Alfie thank you. We have some lovey squirrels here at the moment. LOL Fred has named one of them as he is beautiful. He looks 50/50 grey red but has a lovely wide line of red all the way down his back and of course a beautiful tail. He hangs upside down from the table to reach the food.

Sound like you are having a fab time Sheils, I have of course been keeping up with your travel on fb etc.

We are off the the Harvester for a 2pm meal with eldest GS who is 20 next week:eek: We are getting old.

Hope you all have a lovely day whatever you are doing.
