Thanks indie, at least we learnt some things from problems.
1)If you stop in emergency lane of motorway you can phone from the phone there and they will close the inside lane to let you back on the motorway
2) You can drive car without exhaust if careful car doesn't fill with emissions
3) Learnt how our warranty and breakdown cover works!
Hopefully no-one else will ever need these things and we won't again but still handy to know.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Sheils Great to hear that you are back safe and well (even after the car trouble) and that you both enjoyed the break.
fire**fly Thanks for the Buddha.
Best of luck to everyone for the month ahead.A good life is when you assume nothing, do more, need less, smile often, dream big, laugh a lot, and realise how blessed you are.

:hello: Good morning everyone - happy October!
Strangely there's no hooley my way fire**fly
although they kept mentioning about the 'anticipated'
dreadful weather conditions due here today!
Well we have a beautiful sunny morning with a light
breeze - thankfully it rained during the night. :T Not sure
how long the sunshine will last - you never can tell
these days!
Many thanks for the lucky Buddha :A - I've done the
usual with him.
Had my annual flu jab yesterday - my goodness the nurse
didn't hang about, quick jab then out! Mind you we always
have a good turnout for it- I actually didn't feel anything
and thankfully I've been lucky enough to never suffer with
any of the dreaded side effects the following day.
 Welcome back sheils! Your holiday sounds brilliant but
sorry to hear about the car exhaust falling off.
Thankfully the car was still under warranty with recovery
service etc & Mitsubishi picked up most of the bill.
Best wishes to everyone for a very lucky month - may the
comping fairy pay you frequent visits!I think she's most
definitely forgotten where I live! :rotfl:
Take care all.

Happy October everyone, love this time of year when the leaves are falling off the trees, don't like sweeping them up though LOL.
Glad you are back safe Sheils and that your car is OK now. Good luck with catching up with everything.
Thanks for the Buddha firefly, always like seeing it.
Loving the poems Alfie, thanks.
Our flu jabs are all booked but not had them yet.
Been to Seaton Carew today to see DD1 and family for her 50th birthday. Had lovely fish and chips etc and a lovely time was had by all. Even Lottie enjoyed her walk afterwards. Back home now and trying to catch up.
Glad to hear DH's shoulder is getting better leanfun.

:hello: Good morning everyone
Lol! Thought I would nab the lovely 'coffee fairy' this
morning as the naughty little comping fairy appears to
be ignoring me! :rotfl:
Hope you're all ok. It's another beautiful autumnal
morning here much the same as yesterday .....
which ended up with rain in the afternoon! I wonder
if today will follow the same weather pattern!
I also love Spring and Autumn - but same as sylv and
fire**fly - as much as I love to see the leaves changing
colour and falling in the Autumn - I also dislike the
sweeping up of the leaves - particularly it they're wet!
Yuk! On the up side though - at least they don't blow
away.
 Hello and welcome bangbangbazo - it's lovely to
meet another international comper. I agree with fire**fly -
there seems to be quite a few comps on the boards that
are open worldwide. Sending you best wishes and lots of
comping luck across the miles. xx
Your day at Seaton Carew sounds delightful sylv and the
fish and chips sound scrumptious! Nothing better than
eating local fish and chips at the seaside! I've
just had a google - it has a wonderful history and also
just saw this quote ....
Tourists and visitors are attracted to the resort's four miles of
spotless sandy beach, promenade, arcades, and fish and chip
restaurants.

It sounds wonderful. :T
I wonder how wingo and rose are - we haven't seen them
in The Inn for a while. Hopefully they're both ok. :A
Well - time for another cuppa before I crack on. Have a
lovely and lucky day all and please take care whatever
you're up to.

Had a windy night and morning and been quite a few showers but washing is nearly all done even the ironing (apart from about 8 T-shirts)
Loving all the Autumn pics thank you FF and Alfie.
Poor DH had to go to the dentist today with an infection in his gum, he was due to see the hygienist tomorrow anyway but had been having bother on our break. He has got antibiotics now anyway so hopefully feel better soon.
Anyone had a win yet?Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media
