Morning, nice and sunny here too at the moment. Lots of rain yesterday afternoon and predicted again later today so better make the most of the morning.Can't believe we are at the end of another month. Where are the days going...lol.Hope you all have a lucky EOM.

It's another beautiful start to the day here - sun is shining

I can't believe that we're at the end of another month
either indie. This year is most definitely whizzing by. Soon
be Christmas! :eek: :rotfl:


rose - I actually managed to do the dreaded pile of ironing
yesterday but it really is a pet hate of mine. It's always
right at the end of my 'to do' list!

Just popped in to say we have been having a lovely break and the weather has been pretty good to us. It is nice to have sunny weather when you are by the coast.
We were at Middlesbrough and crossed the River Tees on the transporter bridge which was a novelty.
Had 2 nights at Hartlepool Marina where we went to the Royal Navy Museum which was really good, had been before years ago. There was also an Andy Capp exhibition on at the museum next door which DH really enjoyed. Went to visit his statue again too. Walked to Seaton Carew along the promenade while we were there as well. Then we went to South Shields where we walked out on the long pier and visited our favourite Indian restaurant. The beaches are beautiful there,
Did so much walking and my back seems to be better (fingers crossed!)
Final night was last night at Gateshead so heading home today via Gibbside NT property I think to do more walking!
Really enjoyed seeing wingo again too.

Been keeping up with all your posts.

Must get my shower now before breakfast as DH has just come out of it.

Sunny here so far this morning. Yesterday we too had some heavy showers. DH went to opticians yesterday. They have tracked down a pair of replacement frames for the ones he broke and most of cost covered by insurance so he was well pleased. While he was there I took GS shopping in Poundland. He found a dinosaur he doesn't have and was amazed when I said we could buy something else too. He's here again today. DD2 back to work.

Sheils Pleased you have enjoyed this trip. Took my mind back thinking of Andy Capp.

Rose forgot to say well done on your Council tax rebate. They sounded like real jobsworth people. So well done for persevering to claim what was rightfully yours.

Sylvia hope your DH is feeling much better.

Good evening all, lovely and peaceful here now as all the visitors have now gone home and we have the flat to ourselves again. GK's go back to school/college next week so we are on the downward slope towards the C work LOL. Can't believe how quickly the year is passing.

Big hugs for anyone that needs one and good luck for September everyone, hopefully get some nice wins thaat will help with Christmas.

Morning, suns out here but it's not very warm.Temps have really dropped overnight.I have today off, not doing a lot as didn't sleep well and feeling it now.So just going to potter around and catch up with comps. Hope you all have a lovely weekend.
