  • Diesel engines designed for sale in multiple countries to run on whatever fuel is available. I wonder how the fuel in say Romania compares to the UK? I guess if I was fuelling with cheap diesel in some Eastern European backwater I wouldn't be surprised if the car didn't run as well and had lower mpg - so why do I find it so hard to believe in V-Power?

I have never really looked at it before still being a petrol head rather than a diesel dawg but when i was filling my car with petrol today i glanced at the diesel prices in our local BP filling station

regular BP diesel = £1.19P per litre and ultimate BP diesel = £1.34p per litre so if i was buying diesel it would be £8.70 more to fill my car with ultimate so around £200.00 per year extra, i thought we were talking a few pence extra per litre not 15 P per litre

i drive a company vehicle that runs on diesel and we have been told under no circumstances are we allowed to fill or vehicles with premium fuel using the company all star card
