Tesco 3% Bank Account Interest

Do you mean that they added this to the account you cannot access?
Why did you not refuse to close the complaint and put it in writing?
Because I'm an idiot and at the time they said having the complaint open would make no difference in how long it would take to resolve.
The CEO's office did respond after 2 weeks, saying they were looking into it and would update after two more weeks. Two weeks later a letter arrived stating they were still looking in to it. That was on the 14th.
I've not tried using the debit card, although I suspect it works. The account's not blocked as such - it's the online account that isn't functioning. But for a bank with no branches, that's rather limiting.0 -

It's never worked. I get the summary page after logging in. Clicking "Manage Account" then dumps me to an error page saying "Online Banking is Unavailable".
This happens on: macOS Sierra Chrome 56, macOS Sierra Safari, Windows 10 Chrome 56, Windows 10 Edge, Windows 10 IE, Android Nougat Chrome 56. It's not a browser issue. They've acknowledge it's an issue on their side.
I fully accept this is a corner case, and most people will be logging on fine. In fact, I suspect if others were having this issue it would be fixed by now. The length of time it is taking to resolve isn't exactly making me comfortable though.0 -
I have 2 Tesco current accounts and have no problems with either the mobile app or online banking.
Also £90 interest is per annum not every month sadly as someone else said up thread. That is a basic error.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. Hw do you know the account is not blocked as such? Have you withdrawn any money, made any payments from it?
Because they've told me that's not the problem? I can't make payments from it as I can't get to the part of the website. I could trying to withdraw cash but as it's fortunately not actually affecting me yet due to my own personal situation that's not going to actually fix anything.0 -

Which might be helpful if they had one that wasn't a 45 min and 2 bus rides away, despite having a moderately sized Tesco "superstore" 5 mins walk away. It's hardly an extensive network.
The main failing isn't the IT issue itself - they do happen after all. It's the ridiculous length of time it's taking to resolved, coupled with the fact I get no response or update without chasing it up myself. Two months since opening I still can't access the account online - having tried numerous different machines, operating systems, browsers and connections. I've even had 2 statements issued that I cannot access. I've at least now been asked to provide further debugging info.0
