Probably. But the length of time it's taking to resolve is firing off warning signals.
There are dozens and dozens of people on this forum, myself included, who don't have any problem with Tesco online banking or with the Tesco app.

Without revealing any personal data, can you explain how your online banking is broken? What platform do you use, which browser? What if any plugins does your browser have? Did your online banking ever work?

Do you have a smartphone? Have you tried the Tesco app?

It's never worked. I get the summary page after logging in. Clicking "Manage Account" then dumps me to an error page saying "Online Banking is Unavailable".

This happens on: macOS Sierra Chrome 56, macOS Sierra Safari, Windows 10 Chrome 56, Windows 10 Edge, Windows 10 IE, Android Nougat Chrome 56. It's not a browser issue. They've acknowledge it's an issue on their side.

I fully accept this is a corner case, and most people will be logging on fine. In fact, I suspect if others were having this issue it would be fixed by now. The length of time it is taking to resolve isn't exactly making me comfortable though.

From what I can make out with the current account, you can collect more Clubcard points than the credit card from 1st April...am I correct?

Sounds indeed a problem unique to yourself. Have you lodged an official complaint? I would go straight to the CEO, Mr. Benny Higgins . He obviously won't be sorting it himself but he'll pass it to his executive complaints team who will be more efficient than CS.

Please let us know how you are getting on

Could be more worrying in your case, I'd run a virus scan on your conscious self if I were you.

Yeah, the complaint I raised through the standard process with CS last week was closed the next working day when someone from the complaints department phones up, and essentially said "having an open complaint won't make it go any quicker, so here's 40 quid as resolution."

I might raise it with the CEO's office if it isn't resolved soon.

Just to update this, despite contact with the CEO complaints team, I still cannot access my account. Any contact with Tesco Bank seems to occur only after I contact them, and I'm simply told the IT team are trying to fix it. The contact staff seem to be doing their best, but the feeling I get is that the IT department would rather I just went away. Very poor. If I'd switched my current account I'd be pretty screwed. As it is I'm not even able to download the two monthly statements I've been notified about, never mind move any money. Even with the interest and clubcard points perk I'm likely to just close the account soon.

Next stop the FOS and/or the Press. I would say though that it is highly unusual not to get any response to a complaint to the CEO. Are you sure the problems aren't due to your account being blocked because they are investigating you for some reason? Are you able to withdraw money by debit card?

Do you mean that they added this to the account you cannot access?

Why did you not refuse to close the complaint and put it in writing?
