It's up to £3000.
So if I stick in the £3000, they will give me a free £90 every month?

£90 per year, assuming you have the full £3000 in the account from day 1 and leave it there for 12 months0

£90 a month would be nice........very nice.I came into this world with nothing and I've got most of it left.0

That's some impressive misunderstanding for an experienced user of this forum!0 -
I have just opened one of these for my wife and am very impressed with how simple the process was compared with the process I went through last month in order to open a First Direct account which I opened to access their regular saver (Two 45 minute phone calls and 3 weeks before I could access it).0

I too have a TESCO current account, I think their app and online process is as easy to use as any I've applied for.
If only it was £90 a month!

I just opened a Tesco 3% current account - in martins newsletter it said you can open two accounts but the website would not let me?0

You can open 2.
Fund the account you have just opened and activate your debit card if required, then try again. If that doesn't work, try phoning them.0 -
Be warned that I opened one four weeks ago, and while the account is active and funded online banking is broken so badly for me that I can't use it to get the money back out again or even view transactions. They've been looking at it for three weeks but still haven't fixed it. If I needed the £3k back in a hurry I'd be screwed.0

Probably an isolated case. No problem for myself, my mum, my sister, my girlfriend. Shame they don't have a refer a friend scheme.0
