  • Belated Happy Birthday wishes JACKIE. Hope you had a brilliant day.

Best wishes for tomorrow LAINEY hope all goes as well as it can do.

My day didn't go to plan. Mr TA was far from well when he get up and has spent the day on the sofa under a spare duvet. So we didn't get out for our lunch after all. He has improved slightly tonight but still feels very shaky and tired. Sounds like we are in the same boat NANNYWINDOW. The not knowing is just awful. (Chemo and radiotherapy not an option for Mr TA either. The radionuclide therapy he had over the last year at Liverpool is no longer being funded, despite some good results at halting growth, so just injections for now.)

I am supposed to be going out with my friend tomorrow for spot of shopping (browsing) and lunch but that hangs in the balance at the moment. Will have to wait and see what Mr TA is like in the morning as I wouldn't leave him if he's as bad as this morning.

Have a nice evening folks xx

TA I'm sorry that Mr TA was unwell today. My DH can look the picture of health one day and the next is spent sleeping on and off for 24hrs. Sounds like we are in very similar situations. DH was only offered injections then last Jan was all prepped up for radiotherapy but was cancelled with a week to go. Don't know if they saw something on his scan but was told it might do more harm than good :(. Was then given an extra tablet a day plus the injections.
Lets hope Mr TA is somewhat better tomorrow.

Lainey I will be with you in spirit tomorrow.

We have an early house sit for DD tomorrow as the part is being fitted to fix the boiler leak. Then we are going hopefully, to a large FarmF**ds weather permitting, as have to drive over the mountain road. We could have rain here but it could be snowing on the other side. As there are other shops to browse in I could be gone for some time;)

    Happy Birthday JackieO :bdaycake:

Hope Mr TA feels a bit better tomorrow, fingers crossed.

    Snoozer

Your son sounds like a lovely person and it was a tragic thing to have happened and have have been awful for everyone.

Someone came to service the boiler and found there was a leak so replaced a part, then found the pipe for the condenser outside was not up to current standards so someone else is coming round tomorrow to sort that out.

Meat delivery should have been today but is now Thursday instead so looks like another day of staying in waiting. On the bright side the cases I got in the sales arrived this morning and I love them - they are so pretty :j

I want to use up some veg so will make leek and potato soup tomorrow and maybe an omelette for lunch etc. The dreaded weigh in is tomorrow night so will try to eat sensibly.

    Hugs to all.
