Good morning all,

Quick check-in.

Yesterday I am pleased to say was an overdue NSD. Healthy dinner, with leftovers for lunch today, followed by a game of badminton.

I've been to the gym and I'm now in work, waiting on the urn to heat up for a coffee. Plan on keeping myself super busy today with a relaxing evening. No plans yet.

Good morning to all my friends on here. raining at the moment ,but I was up with the birds this morning as eldest DD texted last night to say could she nip in before work this morning with a present from my DGD.I have been so well looked after today as its my birthday and have the phone dinging with texts from friends and family since about 8.00. I made eldest DD breakfast and several large coffees as she is not a wide awake lady first thing and sent her off to work .DGD bought me a lovely Cath Kidson shopping bag ,very up market, and soo like her, Holly is designer girl and Bluewater is her second home
I have the hairdressers at 10.00 for a trim as I am disappearing behind my barnet then later I shall be at my youngest DDs and will be staying to dinner there tonight. Definitely NSD today and now I have cooked breakfast for Dd no more cooking either

The weather is pants again so i shall sort threw a box DH bought down from the loft and see what needs to go i think it will be most of it it is all odd bits of china that DD1 had for uni
Dolly has been walked and only had a little bark yesterday lunch walk was a complete nightmare with the continuous barking at other dogs she just wants to play but i wish she didn't have to be so vocal still dog training starts on Wednesday
Dinner tonight is mushroom and ham omelette as some bits need using up

I am planning a fairly quiet day, I just have my friend coming over at lunch time. I haven't seen her for a couple of weeks so we will have a lot to catch up on. I will make us a nice stir fry for lunch as I have lots left over from yesterday.

I am going to be knitting until she comes as I am halfway through a pair of leggings for a new baby. I have to make a few Easter duckies as a bit of light relief for my girls as well.

LaineyT...thinking of you. I know how awful waiting for a funeral can be. Time seems to stand still and it feels impossible to even grieve properly. I am sending all my best wishes for tomorrow and I'll be thinking of you.

Well I lost count of the amount of times I got up to visit the little girls room last night!! That was after still being up at 2.30am. Feeling very groggy this morning and can't wake up properly.

Work soon and no other plans here..I'll just be glad when work is done for the day and I can retreat to my sofa again:o

Happy Birthday JackieO. Sounds as though you will be well, and deservedly, spoiled today.

Snoozer: What a dreadful thing to happen. Every sympathy for your DS, it will take a very long time for him to come to terms with it. Let's hope the police manage to trace the low life that did it.
