Good luck. I hope they make you a much better offer. :money:
I have been resting all day. I am going to stay with the boys and hope it cheers me up. :jAiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
Last nights slow cooker stew was a success and I have put 4 portions in the freezer.
I was so relaxed (stuffed full of stew !) that I fell asleep on the sofa about 8.30, woke about 11.30 and went to bed and have been wide awake since 5.30am (usual Mon-Fri getting up for work time).
Plans for today -
1. NSD
2. clean bathroom
3. mop bathroom & kitchen floors
4. dishwasher on & washing machine later if this fog clears
5. tidy (hide) paperwork - I don't know where it all comes from. I have tried to bin receipts not needed once I have crossed them off my banking, but I seem to end up with loads of letters/bills which need sorting and filing. I have boxes for each utility / car / house etc but never seem to get around to itNote to self - MUST DO BETTER :rotfl:
Also going to attempt to rebuild wardrobe to put on gumtree - may wait until the girls are here tonight and they can give me a hand0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

I did some batch cooking this morning for DS's breakfasts... sausages and chicken & bacon. I pinched a spare sausage for my breakfast with an egg and a slice of toast.
All cleaning done and paperwork tidied... (hidden) on my to do list for another day
Managed to get towels out on the line for a couple of hours but the fog is now back so I've brought the washing in to finish off on airers.
Had a little snooze, and now I just need to hoover and I'm as ready as I'm gonna be, friends arrive after 6pm.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

I know what you mean about the paperwork SYA, I constantly have a pile by my box files of stuff that need to be sorted, whether or not I have just sorted through the pile! :rotfl: It's better than a man's system though, which is to file pretty much all paperwork in the bin...
Sounds like you've had a productive weekend so far - hopefully not too tired to enjoy your friends' company!0 -
Well done on batch cooking. Have lots of fun with your friends.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220

I had a great time last night and although I had some home brewed wine (gifted by another friend) I don't have a hang over
and I slept really well too !
Hope you are both feeling better.
The cupboards are looking bare this morning, I didn't fancy porridge but found 2 slices of bread left in the freezer and a bit of grated cheese left in the fridge so I've had a slice of cheese on toast for breakfast. DS was home 1am then up and out to volunteer job at 8am. I have food for dinner later and breakfast / lunch tomorrow but will need to shop again for lunches / dinners for the rest of the week.
With the pizzas/garlic bread last night, which were a big success, the total spend so far for March £157.65 / £300
This is a bit over budget at £60 a week x 2 so as its a 5 week month I will have to try and cut back over the next 3 weeks to even it out.
Personal spends left now £31.30. I have a lunch out later this month and a trip to the museum (where tea may be consumed) so should be ok.
Its pouring with rain here today so not much planned may just chill out.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

You sound really organised. If we keep doing this we are going to be rich I think. I can't believe I didn't use this system before.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220
